As much as I hate the ex-husband, there is just something so fascinating about his character. Like did he actually…
Ditto! Liang Yong Qi is nailing his role as the conflicted and captivating Shen Yurong. He's a cowardly bastard (an handsome one haha) and I can't wait for him to meet his comeuppance but you can't deny he's very interesting to watch...his smirk, voice (and I love he's not dubbed), outbursts, sorrowful eyes are literally giving me goosebumps... Definitely a very compelling villain. Kudos to Liang Yong Qi for this flawless performance, I'm for sure looking forward to his next projects.
Xue FangFei calling Shen Yurong a mean and pathetic man. That must have cut deep for him.I feel bad for Shen Yurong…
I also really like him. Liang Yong Qi sure nails the role. I must say I'm very conflicted with his character, I still can't figure him out tbh......one moment you're almost pitying him and one moment later you hate his guts for being such a coward. Xue Fangfei/Jiang Li sure hit the nail on the head when she called him a pathetic man because he certainly is.
I've stopped watching her reviews... I recommend watching her videos only after watching the dramas, because it…
Nah, don't worry...she got a prejudice against a lot of artists...I stopped caring about her reviews the day she mocked Cheng Yi using his real voice in 'Mysterious Lotus Casebook'...
I was about to ask the same question😅 Hope so because I want to be done with it asap.
Dunno *please free us*😆 The things I do for Cheng Yi...I wasn't planning to watch it at first tbh but I wanted to know how well part 1 would be received (like testing waters)...I'm very worried for the next two parts now...just hope this won't affect too much the franchise/series🤞 All in all, what a waste of a stellar cast😮💨
I agree with you.. He shouldn't have made a decision to make her forget. However, girls are kind of smarter in…
No hard feelings... we all have different tastes and that's okay😅 Just wanted to give my honest opinion on those side stories. Still have to watch episodes 31 and 32.

haha to each his own I guess because I literally loved this couple (constable and bull spirit), they had a lot of chemistry and their love story was really moving and heartbreaking imo (more than our main pairing who is lacking so much in comparison) We can all agree Yan Ru Shan was being a noble idiot here(I also hate that trope in dramas) and didn't consider much her feelings when he took this decision. However, if I'm putting myself in his shoes, I can understand his choice... Considering he's been sentenced to life imprisonment, he just doesn't want her to ruin her life waiting for him, knowing their love is doomed anyway since she's a human and will most probably die before his release (better forget than eternal longing ). Still, thanks God for Hong Hong thwarting his plan in the end. They have beautiful closure. I have a soft spot for this couple+ it doesn't hurt that Mao Zi Jun is easy on the eye (first time watching him and he's charming)
As for the side couples:
A Lai and Yaya are cute but their chemistry is so-so (he's doing most of the work)
Princess and Shi Kuan were my fav couple but their ending is disappointing? (though I heard she's supposed to reincarnate+I saw the bts of this couple and there's a kiss)
Wei Shang and Ti Xia just appeared so I don't have much to say about them for the moment but I'm afraid their story is a bit childish to my taste.
PS, it's hard to believe the MC is only 22, he has a bright future ahead
His acting is very intense and mature for his age+ the fact he's using his own voice is a huge plus. Boy has indeed a promising future ahead of him, just hope he'll be able to escape from Yu Zheng's claws, unscathed...
i just came home from a china trip and was able to get on a bullet train. the whole time i was thinking about…
haha same, while I was riding the bullet train (Shanghai to Hunan Province), I thought about Wang Xin and Ma Kui a lot and how much I learnt about the railway system in China thanks to this show (and its evolution over the years). It was a good drama. Very underrated.
No, they're dubbed. Cheng Yi is dubbed by voice actor Zhang Jie (He also dubbed him in 'Immortal Samsara' minus Xuan Ye who is dubbed by Cheng Yi himself)
Yuan Bing Yan is dubbed by Qiao Shiyu.
If you're interested in hearing their real voices, I suggest you to watch 'Mysterious Lotus Casebook' (Li Lianhua ) for Cheng Yi and 'Ever Night' (Mo Shanshan) for Yuan Bing Yan.
That's why I trust no one, I've been burnt before...
All in all, what a waste of a stellar cast😮💨
