Because they replaced all the writers with crappy ones who've turned this into standard garbage low-effort BL.

IKR! Boston made the first season so fun for me! He wasn't even in this last episode lol.

I hate how tame this is compared to the first one. Its just a typical BL now, nothing special at all. Either the writer(s) or director lost their edge. This is a 6/10 so far for me.

I hated (still hate) Ming so much that after rewatching my hate only increased from what it once was before because I apparently missed some things the first time that made me hate him more the 2nd time - and yet I think there's a good chance you hate Ming even more than I do and I count him as one of my all-time most hated BL love interests lmao! I absolutely adored Sol!

Rewatched, I still #HateMing, I still think Joe is an idiot, and I still think Sol is best boy. Tong is meant to be an antagonist so I don't hate his character as much as Ming's who's presented as a 'good' guy. Yeah he has a 'transformation', but I still like Sol more and he didn't need to change to be likeable for me - and since I still can't stand Ming I guess making him likable didn't work for me either lol!
