Oh No! Oh No! Oh No No No No No!

Joong, Dunk, Why?

I had so much hope for this series, but it let me down big time.

It was slow, boring, and the storyline was almost nonexistent.

Even Joong and Dunk who have such big personalities and great chemistry in real life were lifeless in this series.
The actual performance was decent, it’s not like it was super bad acting, but I think the jacked up storyline probably made it difficult to portray their characters. ALL the actors from this series that I have seen in other series acted much better in the other series.

The music was good, Joong sings lovely.

I will not rewatch this series, I can’t sit through it a second time.

Overall… this series is not good.

What I liked:
The friendship between Pat, Ae, & Chot.
The concept.

What I did not like:
The execution of the concept.
The slow paced often messy storyline.
The lack of chemistry between the leads.
The open ending for Jaab and Jane.
The open ending of Jeng’s parents attitude toward Jeng and Pat.

I feel like there was not a good balance between the work storyline and the romance storyline. I could hardly tell that it was even a romance drama until episode 9. There was hardly a relationship between Jeng and Pat, but then all of a sudden when they finally did get together they were like they had been in a relationship for years. It is almost hard to explain. The pacing just wasn’t right and the chemistry wasn’t there. And it definitely left some unanswered question. It’s like they tried to fit too much into one 12 episode drama.

I will not rewatch, but I do hope to see these actors in a better series later.

Pleasantly surprised

I didn’t know what to expect when I started this series, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The storyline was cute and executed better than “Hidden Agenda “ in my opinion.
The actors were good, they had chemistry and the acting was believable.
To be honest I can’t even remember the music, but I don’t remember hating it, so it must not have been too bad.

I think I would rewatch this series if I had nothing better to do, but it not at the top of my rewatch list.

There was definitely room for improvement on the storyline. I feel like the conflict was not dramatic enough, it lacked a little oomph. Also there could have been more details revolving the lead up to the conflict and more details on the second couple.

Overall this is a decent series.

Inconsistent

This drama was boring and had an inconsistent storyline.
There were details that did not progress or make the story more interesting at all' while there were a lack of details that would have explained things a little better.

The acting was inconsistent as well, some scenes were acted out well, while other were not.

The music was good though' Guitar and Ping have very nice voices.

One thing I did like and I wish they would have added more detail on was the story line of Mr. House Spirit. If written, directed, and acted well, that has potential to make a good drama by itself.

I will not be rewatching this series. I hope all the people involved get a chance to do better on what ever projects they work on next.

Not what I expected.

I was a bit shocked at this series. I am not used to GMMTV series being so mature and with so many NC scenes.

The Story: There was a lot going on. It all tied together fairly well and was never boring… very dramatic drama.

The Acting/Cast: They all did great. Especially Neo…. Oh I hated and loved Boston. He was selfish and immoral, but he was damaged and didn’t know how to love. Neo did an amazing job bringing that character to life.

The Music: The music was good, I liked several of the songs. I wish MDL would put a soundtrack tab on the movie/series pages.

Rewatch value: it’s not high on my list of rewatches because it is a dramatic series… forget a love triangle…it’s a dang love octagon. But if I need some NC drama I might watch again.

Can I just say that I wish Papang (Dan) and Ja (from Don’t say no) could act in a series together as brothers. Some of the faces he makes reminds me of Ja. Papang reminds me even more of Ja in the Dangerous Romance series.

Interesting.

Okay… wow

Pros:
The acting was good.
The soundtrack was okay
The friendship dynamic was amazing.
The chemistry between couples was good.
The overall cinematography was well done.

Cons:
Seng’s character Toh.
The second hand embarrassment I felt.
The toxic and very creepy obsession.

The thing I hated most:
Toh was a full on stalker and everyone acted like it was okay. As a victim of stalking it was frightening to watch and have the light hearted spin put on it. It is not okay no matter what, so it was hard to view Toh as a protagonist and have sympathy for him.

The thing I liked most:
I liked how if one of the four friends were going through something they all supported each other, would cry for each other and would be there for each other no matter what.

I really hope to see Seng and Billy and Surprise and Heng in other series together with seng having a good character.

I don’t plan on rewatching this at all.

Just here for the nature shots!

The only reason I finished this series is because of the AMAZING nature shots. The view of the mountains and all the greenery were absolutely stunning. I wish I could get a video of just that!

The acting/story
The acting was ehh okay but not great. Pond and Phuwin are both good actors, but I felt like the story line just couldn’t let them shine. They had more chemistry behind the scenes. It seems odd that the story was so blah, because the director and writers all have good dramas under their belts. But this drama just seemed lacking.

I liked the “bodyguard” troupe, but I felt the story was rushed with unnecessary details that took the up the place of a steady storyline. They tried to fit too much into the series with out focusing on how the flow went.

The soundtrack was okay, nothing special.

Rewatch value
2 stars… only because the cinematography and maybe because I like Pond and Phuwin. But it would be at the bottom of my rewatch list.

The our sky sequel episodes was a little better but not much.
