Today LatteKim became an official pairing, so here's to hoping Kim gets the role. Net and JJ just mentioned the second couple part but wouldn't say who it was yet. They may have been waiting to find out the results of DMD Friendship season 2 episode 5.

I don't think the Calvin and Jay parts are going to take up as much filming as people think since they are not a main couple. I've also seen them working on what looks like the fight choreography workshop for LUAT. So probably working on both series.
