true ! a lot of shows are scared to say their characters are neurodivergent since it can put some ableist people off *or* make them nitpick the representation ! so shows/stories tend to just leave it up for interpretation

(good example; when mc was trying to stop that abusive dad from chasing after the daughter - the way he pushed him back, held his hands up in that way, looked down and tensed with an awkward forced sentence he didnt want to say - it screeeeamed autistic to me, as an autistic person HAHA)
