Anybody who watched Love in Pavilion remembers the story of Mu Xiaowu and Yang Yan (Yitan's aunt)? I was just thinking, those prestigious clans from Yi Qi Alliance are damn ugly and disgusting since LiP...Not surprised at how terrible the Yi Qi alliance is, they need to be dissolved.
So, we're 16 episodes in and the most physical affection shown by ML was a pat on the shoulder... Eh. I watch…
I feel the love though! I think if you're measuring it by purely physical touch/affection, then yes it's not really that romantic. The 10000 sword scene and him carrying Qing Tong away from danger was so romantic to me lol but then again I really like this kind of slowburns. I also think it's because Fugui was raised without seeing the outside world much. Even at home, his dad is a widower. I don't think he knows how to be physically romantic so sudden 🤣
Hmm I don't know what to feel about Rumu and Long Weiyun. They look good together but their tragic background is conflicting. I feel like Rumu is too good, his sacrifices and love for her is more than the love she shows for him 🥺. I know that love isn't about comparisons but I need to see more from her.
Cheng Yi is insanely good at kiss scenes lmao I didn't watch Immortal Samsara but I came across his famous kiss…
Yes really, I'm serious hahaha. The bath tub kissing scene in Immortal Samsara was really good on CY's part, though YZ's character was more shocked. There was even a behind-the-scenes clip for it with the director praising him 😂
I've never seen Cheng Yi kiss on screen yet, is he a good one?
Cheng Yi is insanely good at kiss scenes lmao I didn't watch Immortal Samsara but I came across his famous kiss scenes 😂 For LYT, I'm not sure, I can't remember.
I went to rewatch and just realised that Fugui smirked a little when Qing Tong said he looks good no matter what 😂 Fugui also didn't deny when others said Qing Tong is his wife hehehe
I haven't watched LIP and after starting this, it makes me less incline to watch it. I feel bad for Fugui and…
You can take a look at my discussion post on this page about Love in Pavilion background information! Or if you prefer to watch Love in Pavilion first, then you can ignore my discussion post (because it contains spoilers about LiP).
All the reference to Love in Pavillon makes me want to watch it when I don’t want to. Is there a summary? What…
Do take a look at my discussion post on this page for a summary of some of the important information of Love in Pavilion. It may not provide all the answers but you can ask more too.
It probably has to do with the fact that Wangquan Fugui has been literally raised as the alliance's "soldier".…
What point did I miss? You said noone bats an eye when the villain blames Fugui, their best warrior. I said that it's not because they truly believe the villain but because the villain's words suit their interests. At least, that's my interpretation.
I'm gonna be honest, i might just drop this after episode 12, it hurt my brain so much. Imagine slimiest most…
It probably has to do with the fact that Wangquan Fugui has been literally raised as the alliance's "soldier". Besides his junior, Feng Tingyun, Grandpa Fei, and his dad, nobody else had any proper, significant interaction with him. Fugui's four "drivers" also don't really have much of a strong bond with him besides bringing him out for missions. The alliance sees Fugui as nothing but a tool. Even if he is, truthfully, their best warrior, in their eyes, he is merely a tool for them to use to eliminate demons (doing all the dirty work) and maintain the alliance's authority. The alliance elders probably don't see him as a person at all. Plus with the prophecy, all the alliance elders are worried about is their OWN interests. Since the prophecy hints at Fugui probably going rogue, they couldn't give a rat's ass about him and only care about their own interests. This is why they believe the "villain" more, it suits their own interests.
This is not exactly related to the show now but I was suddenly thinking what if Fugui was born as a daughter?? Is Hongye going to make her a "soldier"? Some random thoughts I have lol
Fox Spirit Matchmaker is actually from the original manhua and donghua. It's because the Tushan Fox Clan (the…
Unlikely to have modern world continuation for live action/drama because I think they already agreed which parts to be filmed when buying the rights to Fox Spirit Matchmaker IP. Also, Red Moon Pact and Love in Pavilion didn't do that well in China.
The modern world part is also more comedy haha
