You must be supermodel lookalike. Let us see what you look like. You are really superficial. Acting like a bloody 15 year old who spends most days on Instagram looking at fake AI models. Calling ML ugly, for f sake, check your eyes please. No one could have done justice to this role except ZRY, his skill as an actor surpasses most actors his age. A drama is not only good looks you know. Besides check out season 2, he looks very different and the costumes are even more gorgeous than season 1.

Zhang Wanyi is an amazing actor, and I prefer him rather than Leo Wu, to be honest. Wanyi was amazing in Lost you forever. And I love his voice, he has a very distinct speaking voice and quite pleasant to listen to. I hope he dubbs himself. Zhang Xincheng, only seen him in Go ahead. But he was great. Dont know Liu Lin that much.

she wasnt the one pregnant, it was a surrogate. In the middle of everything, she and partner broke up and she decided she didnt want her kids anymore. The surrogate was aready pregnant and far along with twins... she abandoned her babies. There is no excuse, as the biological mother of those children, how can she abandon them? Children are not some product you order online and then cancel to get refund. She deserves what happened to her. Plus the tax evasion. Her character is questionable. Who will want to watch her drama now?

this was crap. FL constantly looking like she is constipated. Bad acting from everyone. But at least ML was hot. Low budget short miniseries are usually bad. But if you want to watch a really good short drama, watch 'Dominion and Devotion'. ML is a really good looking (fake) Eunuch...FL is a cross dresser, she becomes the Emperor. Awesome drama

Good drama, enjoyed it. 10/10 for me, for being a short drama it was very good. The ending although makes sense, still was unnecessary. They were such smart strategic couple, she could have easily made him fake his death and come back when it all died down. And the extra scene could have been the real ending. I feel like the production just wanted to make it a bad ending, without any reason.

It was still very good drama, and ML is just so handsome. Both have amazing chemistry. The makeup on ML was a bit much, but it did give him an edge especially in the beginning when he seemed more evil.

I have seen some shots of this drama, reminds me of The Kings woman in quality, production, the costumes and era. The orginal actor is Gao Yunxiang, he had that scandal in Australia. Dylan is replacement. I want to see the original. Wish they released this at least internationally.

The original actor for this drama is Gao Yunxiang, seems Dylan was a replacement, still they not releasing it. Yunxiang is no longer active as an actor due to his scandal.

Yes his death was more heartbreaking than the 2nd ML death. Writers should have written a different ending for Xiyang, by giving her true love with Xia Jingyan. Jingyan was not cut out to be an emperor, he should have given up the throne to Xia Jingshi and moved to Susha to be with Xiyang and raise their child together .... But unfortunately, Jingshi had too much resentment to let Jingyan live, so killing him was the only option for him

haha true. But its drama, and he is our ML, not going to die that easily. In many of these historical drama, one never dies with just one or two stabs, you literally have to cut of the head and throw it into fire for death to happen...lol

ep 37, I don't know... even when Xia Jinyan is being attacked, his mouth keeps running... His bro has stabbed him twice already,, but the emperor barely stops to take a breath and keeps saying humiliating things to Jingshi... made me kinda laugh even though its a serious scene. I love the emperor, he impressed me more than anyone else in this drama.

I think the Xia brothers were taught to hate each other by the empress... Whilst the Feng royal siblings were taught to love each other. Feng siblings also had that nasty 2nd empress but the emperor despite his faults, was still caring enough towards his children so they grew to love each other.

I agree on The Wolf, her chemistry with Darren Wang was on another level. Darren brought such a manly, dark, dominant energy to that role that its hard to match that. I think in this FH, she just aged, she looks much older than ML. They keep pairing much older actresses with younger MLs. It worked in the Double somewhat, although there too, ML was feminine looking and had too much makeup. I think FH was still good, the plot gets even more intriguing towards the end, and Li Qin kicks ass. This is the 1st time watching Chen Zhe Yuan, He's definitely got the looks and looks manly enough for the role, Wish they had toned down the makeup, he has more make up on than FL in some scenes, Even Li Qin mentioned his make up in some interview....lol

I'm on ep35, damn its so intriguing now. Its 3am and I have to get some sleep but I can't stop watching....lol The Murongs know Suige is alive! Suige got his army back, now starts the final battle.... And over in the other state, the sister and the two men around her, things are about to go down there too. How am I to get any sleep today?
