Okay, im surprised season2 is rated lower than season1 cause I think season 2 is better because unlike season 1 which is focusing more on the director rising as JAV director, season 2 focus on the downfall and it has more drama. It also show the evolution of the premise, with the director trying to chase the technology. And of course, while you make a lot of money, you make enemies. Backstabbing, Yakuza involvement, death etc. Im not sure how much of it is an actual true story, but if all of them, what a bloody industry it was (maybe still is? IDK). Still the director reminded me to some people I hate. Talk big, trying everything unconventionally to get what he wants yet in the end he make situation hard for others. I probably wont like the director in real life and how the drama ending ... so he has happy ending. Good for him but boring for drama. Also I wonder were Japanese women really that sexually deprived in the 90s ... 7.5/10

At first I thought this will be boring. A popular presenter that avoid to say anything unnecessary to gain favour from people while avoiding problem. After he retired from being presenter and works as PR in his alumni uni, he was hit an absurd request. Like the those old geezer directors wants him to talk out his ex-gf from his uni day like decades ago to retract her report about one of the prof fraud. LMAO. that is wild request and him who only like to gain favour, follow their instruction. I seriously thought every ep they gonna have new fresh plot but no, they have new plot but the previous ep plot bleeds into new ep till the end. So the MC actually did grow as person. Also they put an adequate amount of comedy to keep the ep entertaining, especially with the rogue newspaper club. 7.5/10

Soul swap is not something new in Jdrama. But this drama being a non-BL but has Arata kissing both Shohei and Tori are wild. The switching between Tomoe and Masao are well made. The drama is funnier than I have anticipated. Though Momochi can be a bit cringee some times, I like how balance between the comedy and the drama. 8.5/10

The drama follow this detective Hoshino who owned a recycled shop who then get a an assistant which is his client in ep1. They really just solve simple cases and this is more a comedy than a mystery drama. Karato is quite annoying character. The police detective is useless as usual. Also like always the MC has signature move when he about to solve a crime. He open a pocket music box and get the first star. Also the acting of the MCs are super mediocre. Arioka is quite non memorable in term of acting. 5.5/10

Asia is not America or Europe. You might see Taiwan and Thailand are gay friendly on social media but the reality is majority of people even in those countries are still conservative. TBF, even in 2026, this drama is still relevant in Asia because that is what the reality is

This is short, concluding the season 1 but I must say, it does feel like a lazy writing at this point. Like what do you mean the Hikaru Genji and Chujo is just another mirror characters from the tales where their original version is still in the tale just because the writer got warp into the world and she just wrote them into this world and another version appears? 5.5/10

Okay, I dont like season 1 cause Nadeshiko is grating my ears. And in season 2 .... she has more air time and her character is giving me such a headache. Like it works in Anime or manga but in LA .... she is just annoying. I dont find her cute at all. Welp. Im sure there are people who have opposite opinion than me.

Some thing are working in Anime but not in LA. this is one of the example. I somehow dont like this more than season1. sorry. 4/10

8.2 is quite high for Jdrama. So I kinda have a high hope
but watching this .... it took me 4 days to finish this 1 drama. Like I keep pausing because I WAS SO FRUSTRATING with how the FL and ML love (or lack of love) story. Then the they keep trying to add 3 person and I seriously dunno did the FL likes him in romantic way or not. Like why you add 3rd character with such a half effort plot? I can only give this 6/10

Okay. The drama was cute at first. I actually think this will defo makes girls flutter. They even resolve the main plot halfway of the series which is good but it comes double edge sword as it turns the drama into plot dragging and the ending ... dont they have new plot? or at least make it updated? it the same trope all over again. Also the best character is the younger brother of FL. too bad his airtime is just 1min per ep. 6.5/10

Okay. I was confused at first because at first it was showing about A man get confused why his wife face turns younger every day. Then turn out that was documentary that a group of students watching for one of the subject. I was like why the story didnt match the synopsis at first. Because the synopsis only started after 3rd eps. They are living in a world where the adults are having same ideal face for man and woman with plastic surgery and modified genetic to the point it is hard to differentiate between them to the point they had to ban plastic surgery for over 10 years. The real story follows a group of students trying to overcome their insecurity complex. The youngsters have plain faces according to the society which only some adults still retain their real faces. TBH, i would rather watching the documentary plot of the first 3 eps as the drama plot rather than annoying teenagers and their raging hormones. 6/10

The premise is simple, meteor hit earth and temperature down to cold side. To survive, they the FL create a fake family to stay in dedicated room for family. Instead of typical survival genre, it is more of family drama on how to survive the hierarchy with deceit, manipulation and conspiracy. I didnt expect to be entertained. Expected my expectation. 7/10

This is light medical drama with some comedies about 4 resident in hospital. I was expecting them to show a story of 4 resident but nope, it all centered around 1 character only which is acted by Alan. It supposed to show his growth as resident but it feels a bit rush like he has been useless 3/4 of the drama and then growth. Also because they dont focus on the rest of the resident, somehow trying to give more depth to them toward the end feels like kinda after thought. The medical cases are common in medical Jdrama but given how it goes into light comedic, it was perfect. The support characters are more enjoyable than the lead character. 6/10

Story about Hikikomori. Not something new especially in School setting.
But what is nice in this drama is that tackle the issue on both Adult and teen sides.
I thought this will move me more reading the comments but it didnt. Still good watch. 6.5/10

The most surprising thing about this drama is that each ep is at least 35min long. Can be 40min can be 50min which I was expecting this to be 25min drama

Even with such length, they manage to drag the self pity plot more that it should. The FL keep using honorific - sama to the most pretty and handsome students in her class is so annoying. of course to keep people glue to this drama, they introduce 2nd Male lead that is showing more care to FL from the start. The ending is so generic and predictable

Was it bad though? not really I guess other than it is being generic. I think it will appeal to teenagers who likes this self-pity FL going out with most popular guy trope. 6/10

Food and food related investigation, not the first time but I still first time for a 50min drama. Mostly this theme is tackled in late night drama which I have watched few of them before. When it says investigation, not really a criminal investigation, more like investigate his clients habit or food order. It was decent. I didnt expect them to have lesbian plot in few eps. 6.5/10

This is a dark psychological drama about a prosecutor trying to unveil the true nature of the criminal named Ritsuko. Rather than doing a quick judgement, he explored her background, trying to understand her reasoning behind all the facades. It was interesting, not really ground breaking but not bad. 7/10

So Rikokatsu exceed my expectation. I have low expectation for this since most of kitagawa keito drama ends up well produce but heavily generic plot.

This one? I was surprised by how much I was enjoying it. I didnt think it will be a good romcom. But I was laughing every ep. Maybe not so much but It still entertain me. Was the plot frustrating? yes. Is it generic? Well mostly but it still has it owns strength. The show is basically talking about what is marriage. why you get marry. how to deal with ur partner polar personality and compromise. etc. and of course the divorces are the main themes.

Some characters are just generic. The best side character is acted by Shirasu Jin. The character is eccentric but very aware of what is happening around him. Also when they changed the actor for FL father from Shiro to Mitsuru, I was wondering at first why they recast. Turned out Shiro was unwell at the time. Shiro might only appears on the first 3 eps but his acting style is actually more suited the character than Mitsuru. Mitsuru is too underwhelming. Also the show is making it obvious enough not to make the audience loving the other love interests. I wish to have like a good 2nd lead syndrome. haha. 7/10

just like what the description said the FL is obsessed with her younger sister. That sister died of cancer and she started to fall in love with her death sister fiance.
The show is depressing but at least they have growth. 6/10

im not a fan of toku. Watch it because it was short. Definitely not so high end budget as any other toku show. Good if you have nothing else to watch. 6/10
