Now that the drama is finally released I hope its popularity pushes the novel to be published in English. I would pay sooo much money to own this series 😭😭😭

Where can I read the novel?

I don't know what it is about this c-drama that seems so unlike any other drama that I've watched. the family drama and the mystery of Qiao Being Yu's death feels so insidious-- its the only word I can use to describe it. Like, I really thought that this drama would be like all the others that I've watched in that the family drama would just feel ridiculous and annoying, but every episode has been so thrilling and full of intrigue. It almost feels like I'm watching a horror movie, I don't like or trust anyone besides the two main characters; Ming Sheng and Qiao Qing Yu.

On another note they really need to start physically publishing Chinese Light Novels in English more, I'm about to read this online but damn I wish I had a copy because if the drama is a reflection of the writing in novel, I'm going to absolutely love it.
