Yips is a reverse mystery

Yips is a delightful blend of mystery and humorous storytelling based on the main characters personalities. This also has unexpected troll humor and even black comedy.
Whether you all are seasoned mystery fans like myself or just simply looking for an enjoyable drama, this series is worth your time!
Yips is set in the heart of Tokyo, with its bustling streets of shinjuku and shibuya, neon-lit alleys of roppongi and ginza, or hidden corners of asakusha,,The cinematography adds to the overall effect of the city’s atmosphere which I feel is a must for a mystery dramas.
Each episode presents a standalone mystery, ranging from seemingly mundane pointless incidents to elaborate murder schemes. The joy lies in watching Miko and Toru connect the dots, often with pure luck or simple fluke.. Miko and Toru’s interactions is the heart an soul of this drama. Their banter, witty exchanges, and contrasting personalities keep the viewers entertained. Miko’s out of the box thinking clashes with Toru’s methodical police work, resulting in both humor and may be even a bit of romance . Despite their setbacks, they use their 2 man game and teamwork to crack the cases, relying on their complementary skills and Eccentric personalities...
This drama is a reverse mystery that keeps viewers engaged, as they eagerly anticipate the unraveling of intricate schemes and hidden agendas rather than guess the whodunit. Yips flips the script. The real mystery lies in how our Miko Kuroba (played by Ryoko Shinohara) and Toru Morino piece together the clues and motives behind each crime. Director Hiroaki Matsuyama skillfully balances the dark comedy with tense investigations to create an engaging experience for the viewers.

The acting performance by the lead actress...
Yasuko matsuyuki in this drama takes her persona with her from case to case . As Professor Amano she makes use of her own personality in playing the role instead of learning about the character she is playing. As a result, her name alone can tell the viewers what to expect from a drama with Yasuko in the lead role.. since she rarely stray from her usual roles. She is known to be versatile but she personally takes on roles which are eccentric and in a position of power like a boss, top Doctor or a Police Chief and in this case a genius Professor..
She is excellent in inhibiting these kind of characters, who seemingly have no flaws and best at what they do and the role of Professor Amano is no exception..

Story..
Accidents or mishaps happen every day and all the time . Some are unnoticeable and some draws international attention , but they are not all unavoidable. some accidents are treated as negligence, while some others get charged with staging a crime as an accident or sometimes even mother nature has a role to play..
The drama primarily focus on the professor who helps anyone who ask for her help to get an understanding of what exactly happened that led to such tragedies, the very nature of the accident or if it was even an accident.. Whatever the reason even if it seems impossible or supernatural, the Professor will find the truth along with the prove..

This is a new kind of mystery drama that describes the cause rather than the effects and the misfortunes that's comes with them for the people involved..the drama emphasis the fact that science has revolutionised modern life, made criminals obsolete and can explain the chain of events that are cause of mysterious accidents and how to avoid them..
I think mystery fans and science geeks will love it..
