Oh! Having separate beds or even separate bedrooms is quite common in Japan, it’s hardly something by which…
I don't know what "conclusion" you thought was drawn, but I was asking a question. In any case, what you said explains so much so thank you for answering my question.
i have to rant somewhere or ill suffocate. this series had so many problems if we take a closer look. firstly,…
Well, this comment explains the questions I had about Vee and Ploy and who cheated on who. After rewatching the first three episodes of the Director's Cut, I can now formulate a sound reasoning...
Mark is obviously the antagonist in this case given that he is the obstruction of those in love: Vee and Ploy, Bar and Kan. With the relationship between Bar and Kan, Mark was trying to flirt with Bar even though Bar doesn't like him back. Bar is also already spoken for so Mark shouldn't be going after someone that has been taken.
With the case between Vee and Ploy, Vee was being kind to Mark because he felt bad for him and wanted to help comfort him through his feelings of sadness. Unbeknownest to him that his kindness is what caused him trouble in his relationship with Ploy. Perhaps Ploy felt that Vee wasn't appreciating her enough as Vee would spend more times with his friends and having concern for other people's well-being. And maybe Ploy felt that Vee wasn't keeping his promises because events would happen that Vee felt he had an obligation to even though he could have turned his friends down since he had plans with Ploy. Long story short, Ploy was getting the short end of the stick and that's why she moved on to someone else. But... obviously she probably wanted to still keep up pomp and circumstances with Vee because instead of confronting the problem, she just moved on to the next. There could be other speculations involved as to why she didn't just dump Vee, but I'd rather not get into it here...
At the same time, because of Vee's kindness to Mark, who was still drunk at the time, Vee got trapped into Mark's hallucinations of Bar, thinking that Vee is Bar. Vee could have easily just pushed Mark away or blocked him like he has done many times, but he didn't. My understanding from this scene is that Vee was being kind to Mark again after hearing and seeing Mark beg for Bar (Vee) to let him show his love for him. And so Vee being the kind person that he is allowed Mark to kiss him, but... I think Vee also ended up liking it and maybe wanted to have sex with Mark too. At first, I thought maybe Vee was just a horny person looking for a one night stand, but... the idea of Vee being bisexual came up since he was still quiet about his relationship with Mark. However, throwing sexuality out the window, Vee's concern and caringness for Mark (and mostly because of Vee having sex with Mark since that is the farthest that Vee has gotten with someone) is what caused Vee to start have feelings for Mark.
This being said... Mark didn't like Vee at the beginning. And even when Mark did ended up having feelings for Vee, he still pushed Vee away and kept him at a distance because Vee was technically still with Ploy. Until either Vee or Ploy decided to break up with the other one, Mark decided this time that he would stay out of it and not come in between two lovers again like he did with Bar and Kan (or at least this is what I'm assuming anyway).
So... from my understanding is that Ploy cheated on Vee because of neglect. Vee cheated on Ploy because of unfortunate circumstances (or fortunate circumstances though for us, the audience). But my question was who was the wrong one first? And I think given everything that I've said, I may have found the answer to my question...
I would say that Ploy was the one who cheated on Vee first. I do think that Vee was wrong towards Ploy for concerning himself with other people before the person that he is in a relationship with, but is it a bad trait to be caring or be concerned about others who are having trouble and wanting to help them? Because Vee did the same thing towards Mark later on in the series when Ploy ended up having some issues in the episode when Vee was going to break up with Ploy and confess that he is now in a relationship with Mark. Vee ended up returning back to Ploy's side even though he doesn't love her anymore, but felt that he was obligated to be there for her after she was having issues with Ton, the person who she cheated on Vee with...
But obviously... this is all Mark's fault. If Mark wasn't there, then none of this would have happened. So it's not Ploy's or Vee's fault for doing what they both did to the other in the end. However... Vee's situation was an accident. Ploy's situation was intentional. And with Mark's situation, well... it was accidental and intentional at the same time... XD
But it was 4 years. At first part, it was 2007, and at University - it's 2011, so iPhone 4 (which they have) was…
I think you need to also take into consideration of developing countries and places of poverty. If you think about it... were China becomes more technologically advances to the point where they have computer equipment like you see in Sci-Fi movies and TV shows, the USA wouldn't be a first world country anymore... One day, you had the best phone out there. A year, month or maybe a day later, your phone is now a thing of the past...
So... I've decided to not watch this show this week and probably the next week too so that I can binge watch Episodes 10, 11 and 12 together. I'm curious though as to what the finale might be though. There are 14 episodes... certainly there must be something else that comes up then just Cake finally realizing his feelings for Eiw. Perhaps another time skip/jump of them after college? I mean this drama took 9 episodes to establish their character background and development of their childhood and the last 5 episodes would be of them grown up. And usually with BL school dramas, the events usually happen during their character's time at a university. But since we're near the end now... How will the ending happen? Curious...
Anyways, the important thing is... will I be able to last this long with not watching this series for about three weeks...
