I'm on episode 5 and the drama's just okay, nothing special. I like the cases, but I'm not really feeling the thrill or the urge to watch the next episode. If I had nothing else to watch, I'd probably finish it, but it's a long 16 episodes. I'll probably just drop it.

Yet another overrated drama, in my opinion.

The production values are solid, and the acting is decent. Eun Woo has clearly been working on his craft—his improvement is noticeable and appreciated. The premise is intriguing, and I was genuinely drawn in during the early episodes.

However, Chae Ni's character completely ruined the experience for me. She had her funny moments, but her behaviour was so exaggerated and loud that I ended up skipping large portions of her scenes—and her friends' scenes too. I couldn't take another round of shouting. A little restraint in characterisation would have gone a long way.

The superhero concept felt fresh at first, but ultimately, the drama didn't offer anything particularly memorable. I struggled to connect with most of the cast. For me Jeong—was the only likeable character as he felt grounded and human, a stark contrast to everyone else around him.

Verdict: Solid production and a promising start, but let down by exaggerated characters and a forgettable execution. Worth a look if you're curious about the cast, but don't expect to be blown away.

It was an okay watch—perfect for passing the time when you have nothing else to watch.

The story was decent and the acting was solid overall. My favourite character was Bang UI—he really brought life to the screen every time he appeared. The horror atmosphere was well done and added a nice layer of tension to the drama.

That said, it wasn't anything particularly special. Nothing about it really stood out or left a lasting impression. It kept me entertained, but if it had been more than 8 episodes, I don't think I would have had the patience to finish it.

I did like our main couple and their determination to save each other. That was probably the most compelling part of the drama and kept me invested enough to see it through.

Verdict: A decent time-filler. Nothing groundbreaking, but enjoyable enough if you're looking for something light and short. Worth a watch if you have nothing better on your list.

Watching this drama felt like torture.

Getting through the first few episodes was genuinely painful because the male lead's character was completely unlikeable. I kept waiting for him to grow on me, but it just didn't happen. If you manage to push through that rough start, the drama does get a little better and becomes more watchable—but honestly? It was still too much for me.

The thought of sitting through another 8 long episodes? No. Just no.

What made it even harder was watching the female lead struggle and not being able to fight back. It was frustrating rather than engaging. By the end, I started skipping scenes just to get through it.

The acting was great—I can't fault the performances. But great acting alone couldn't save this one for me. I just couldn't force myself to finish it.

I am completely in love with this drama. Hooked from episode one all the way to the end—not a single boring episode. The storyline is incredibly engaging, blending present-day life with glimpses of past lives in a way that felt seamless and well-executed.

The leads absolutely smashed their roles. Their chemistry? Fire. I was giggling and laughing out loud throughout. Watching their relationship evolve from something like enemies to lovers was such a joy—their interactions were fun, natural, and kept me smiling.

Ji Yeon's performance is outstanding. I loved her in The Tale of Lady Ok and The Glory, and she shines just as brightly here. Nam Jun is equally impressive—he acts so powerfully with just his eyes. I adored him in A Hundred Memories, one of my all-time favourites, and he had great chemistry with the lead there too. Here, the pairing is just perfect.

I binge-watched this over the weekend because I simply couldn't stop. I'm so glad we still get dramas like this. For me, this drama and To My Beloved Thief are the best of the year so far.

The story flows beautifully and the ending was satisfying. Yes, there are a few plot holes—like what really happened to the real Dan, etc.—but honestly? I didn't care. I was having too much fun with our couple to let those details bother me.

Verdict: A must-watch. Perfect chemistry, great story, and a total joy from start to finish.

I completely understand the hype. The cast is visually stunning—IU and Woo Seok both look absolutely gorgeous. I loved their interactions and the playful teasing between them. Their chemistry felt natural and refreshing.

The concept was interesting too—mixing the modern world with Joseon elements was a unique blend that worked well. It was also a nice change of pace to see a couple who actually communicate and resolve issues quickly instead of dragging out misunderstandings for episodes.

I was captivated by the story in the beginning. But towards the end, I started skipping some scenes. It became a little dull. I'm not sure "boring" is quite the right word—it's more that something felt missing. The story was decent, the acting was fine, but overall it landed somewhere in the middle for me. Not great, not terrible. Just average.

It's a shame because I was hoping for another standout drama from Woo Seok after Lonely Runner, which I absolutely adored. I'm keeping my hopes up for his next project—Solo Leveling. I love the manga, so I truly can't wait to see what he does with it.

Verdict: Gorgeous cast, decent story, but something was missing. Worth a watch if you're a fan of the leads, but don't expect another Lonely Runner.

The rating on this one is way too low. It doesn't do the drama justice at all.

This is a slow-burn thriller about a coffin full of gold and the people who are blinded by greed—willing to do anything to get their hands on it. I found it really interesting to watch how each character reacted when temptation came knocking. The acting was great especialy the villan Park.

My favorite character was Woogy. I absolutely love him. He's such a pure soul in a world full of greed and darkness. As we saw more of Hui Ju's past, I understood why she made the choices she did. But I really didn't like her decision in the last episode. The ending also felt a bit off to me, especially the time jump. I really wanted to know what happened in between.

Still, the tension was real. I was on the edge of my seat and excited for every next episode. The female lead could be frustrating—she really should have known when to stop. Honestly, Woogy felt like the only truly human character in the whole drama.

I don't get the negative comments. This drama is genuinely really good.

Verdict: Ignore the low rating. This slow-burn thriller delivers tension, great acting, and a pure soul named Woogy.

I agree, it is overhyped. Just from the trailer you can see a lot of issues that will not be looked at. The biggest…
I did not mind the violence against the bullies. In fact, it was refreshing to finally see them get beaten the same way they treated their victims. In most dramas, bullies are hardly punished at all, so this felt like a long-overdue change.

That said, that is probably the only thing I liked. I could not connect to the story or the characters. The drama lacked emotional connection for me.

Title The Scarecrow Spoiler
I finished this drama last night and I'm still thinking about it. Still feeling it. Still angry.

I went in expecting nothing. I came out with my blood boiling and tears on my face.

A fast-paced, emotionally devastating drama inspired by true events that exposes police corruption in 1980s Korea. It will make you angry, heartbroken, and deeply uncomfortable – and that is precisely why it works.

The story: Captivating doesn't even cover it. I was on the edge of my seat from episode one. I told myself "just one more episode" about seven times. Ended up binge-watching the whole thing. No regrets.

The acting is amazing. Every single person brought their A-game. Tae Ju broke my heart over and over again.

The 80s cinematography was beautiful. They made me feel like I was there.

This drama is inspired by a true case. It is heartbreaking to realize that so many lives were destroyed simply because some police officers wanted promotions. Your blood will boil watching the so-called "good guys" – the people meant to protect citizens – reveal themselves as complete scumbags.

I loved Tae Ju and his strong sense of justice. It is heartbreaking to watch him fight this battle alone. I was crying toward the end because the emotional weight was immense. Seeing people suffer for 30 years – and continue to suffer because the law and justice are not on their side – is devastating.

Tae Ju and Si Yeong: Their relationship was complicated. Difficult. In some sense, it was good to watch them – two people constantly outsmarting each other. But at some point, you realize the truth: people do not change. No matter how much you hope. No matter how much you want them to. When you see how the police cover up the entire case and realize this actually happened, your blood boils again. And it makes you wonder: how many more people like them are still out there?

I love that the ending was realistic and not sugar-coated. It made the entire experience feel truly authentic. This drama will stay with me for a long time.

Verdict: Watch it. But prepare yourself. You'll cry. You'll get angry. You'll feel helpless. And you won't forget it.

I checked out this drama to see what all the hype was about. And after watching it, I get it — but only partially.

What worked for me: This might be the first time I've watched a drama where bullies actually got exactly what they deserved, delivered in the same way they treated their victims. That was deeply satisfying. The first episode was easily the strongest and hooked me immediately.

However, I do think this drama is overhyped. It's good, but nothing more than that.

The main issue for me was a lack of emotional connection to the characters. Toward the end, I found myself losing interest. I believe the drama would have benefited from featuring fewer individual stories and exploring each one in greater depth. That would have allowed viewers to properly invest in the narrative and the characters. Instead, it felt more like watching a fantasy play out rather than a grounded, emotionally resonant story.

Verdict: Worth watching for the satisfying comeuppance and a strong opening episode. But temper your expectations — this is not the masterpiece the hype might suggest.

This season took a few episodes to find its footing. The beginning felt noticeably slow, and I wasn't sure where the story was headed. However, once the pacing picked up, I found myself completely hooked and couldn't stop watching.

The boxing duo remains the heart of the series. Their dynamic is as strong as ever, and watching them fight to protect their loved ones carried real emotional weight. Rain, in particular, delivered an outstanding performance as the villain. He brought depth and charisma to the role, making his character both intimidating and compelling to watch.

The fight choreography deserves special mention — the action scenes were well-executed and genuinely exciting. Across the board, the cast performed admirably.

I also want to highlight Do Hwan, who continues to be one of my favorite actors. His ability to display complex emotions with subtlety and power is remarkable, and he added significant emotional layers to the story.

Be sure to watch both post-credit scenes — they are not to be missed.

The ending strongly hints at more to come, and I sincerely hope the production team announces a third season soon. I would love to see this team face another villain in the future.

Wow, what a ride. The start of the drama was slow, but after thatI was seated the whole time. The storyline was great and kept me engaged, as there was a plot twist after plot twist. I loved the pacing, the suspense, and how nothing was predictable. Every time I thought I had it figured out, the drama proved me wrong. If you're looking for a show that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish, this is it.

Jung Woo's performance deserves special recognition. His character arc is spectacular, and the drama offers a compelling exploration of what a person is capable of doing for money. While it can be frustrating to witness his repeated lies and morally questionable actions, the narrative ultimately delivers a satisfying conclusion where everyone gets what they deserve.

I genuinely do not understand the low ratings this drama has received – it feels unjust. The intensity builds with each episode, growing progressively more gripping. Every character adds value to the story, and I honestly loved the entire experience.

Verdict: A slow burn that rewards patient viewers with an intense, twist-filled ride. Criminally underrated.

You need to watch everything. Side character's back stories are important. You have quite a high taste. In reality,…
Yes, certainly, but I do not intend to compel myself to watch it merely for the sake of completion. I have attempted it and found it not to my liking. Therefore, I do not believe that watching the entirety of the drama to understand the backstories of side characters will enhance the overall experience of the drama for me.

You and I watched the same drama. 😊😊
I wish it could make a difference, but I doubt it when money and power rule the world. Even with the #MeToo movement and the Epstein files being made public, it feels like nothing is really changing. While a few people are held accountable, they are only the small fish in the sea. The people behind the kidnapping, abuse, and killing of children remain protected.

Indeed, Hollywood appears to have its share of such individuals. This, along with the Epstein files, seems to reflect the current state of our world.
