Title Idol I
What a pleasant surprise! I went in expecting something cringy and predictable, but I couldn't have been more wrong.

The storyline had me hooked from the very first episode. The drama follows Maeng Se Na (Choi Soo Young), a high-profile lawyer known as the "lawyer for villains," who secretly happens to be an 11-year devoted fan of the K-pop band Gold Boys. When her ultimate bias, Do Ra Ik (Kim Jae Yeong), becomes the prime suspect in a murder case, she must defend him while hiding her fangirl identity. It's a fun and refreshing concept that blends legal drama, romance, and thriller elements.

I really loved the main leads together. Their relationship felt mature and healing—they helped each other grow, and conflicts were resolved within an episode without unnecessary dragging. That was such a relief to see.

Kim Jae Yeong delivered a solid performance, capturing his character's anxious yet charming persona well. However, I wasn't entirely convinced by Choi Soo Young—her facial expressions felt a bit too consistent throughout, which made it difficult to fully connect with her character.

The thriller aspect was enjoyable, keeping me guessing who the real culprit was. But I do think the drama didn't fully utilise its potential. Towards the end, it lost momentum, and the resolution for some side characters felt rushed and incomplete.

It's a shame because I was completely invested in the beginning. Despite its flaws, I genuinely enjoyed the ride and already miss our fan and idol couple.

Verdict: A refreshing drama with an intriguing premise, great leads, and mature relationship dynamics. Let down by a rushed ending and underutilised potential, but still well worth the watch—especially if you're looking for something light yet engaging.

The WONDERfools is not overrated, but it truly deserves a perfect 10/10 because it is a masterpiece and the best…
Yeah, I'm weird 'cause I don't like the drama. Thanks for your input!😂

This drama captivated me from the very beginning. The storyline is incredibly interesting, and since I absolutely loved Reborn Rich, I was excited for this one. I have to say, it's not quite as good as Reborn Rich, but it's still a great watch.

I really enjoyed the soul-swap concept and watching the chairman try to save Choiseong. The acting was excellent across the board, and Jun Young did a fantastic job, especially in his role as the chairman. Our trio was definitely the best part of the drama—I loved their dynamic. The twins were also incredible. The performances were just spot on.

I was excited to watch each new episode and it kept me seated throughout. My only complaint is the final episode and the wrap-up—it suddenly felt rushed. The ending scene itself was great though.

Overall, it's a great drama with a solid mix of fun and revenge.

Verdict: A highly entertaining drama with a fresh concept and strong performances. Not quite on par with Reborn Rich, but well worth your time.

What a pleasant surprise—I did not expect this drama to be this good!

The drama strikes a perfect balance between comedy and seriousness. I found myself laughing out loud frequently, yet there were also emotional moments that genuinely moved me. It's a great mix that kept me fully engaged from start to finish. I was hooked from the very first episode and ended up binge-watching the entire series in just a few days.

I really loved the Solo Leveling element—it was nicely incorporated and added an extra layer of excitement to the story. The plot was solid throughout, and not a single episode felt like filler. It was a rewarding journey watching the soldiers grow and become a family.

The acting is top-notch, and Ji Hoon was amazing as always. His performance truly elevated the drama.

To sum it up: it's hilarious without being silly, and it has plenty of heartwarming moments to balance the comedy.

Verdict: A fantastic blend of comedy, emotion, and action. Highly entertaining and binge-worthy from start to finish. A must-watch!

This drama took me by surprise—I was hooked from the very beginning. It offered a great blend of humour and mystery, and I quickly grew attached to the team. Watching them work together to solve cases was genuinely entertaining, and I appreciated getting glimpses into their backstories along the way.

I didn't mind that it shifted to a thriller where they tried to catch a serial killer, but it just wasn't done well. Unfortunately, the drama lost its momentum around the halfway mark. I started skipping more and more scenes, and some plot points became downright ridiculous. It's a real shame because the first half was genuinely great.

Verdict: A strong start with a fun team dynamic and engaging cases, but loses its way in the second half. Worth watching for the first half alone, but temper your expectations for the rest.

This drama was a nice surprise. It offers an interesting story about agents and spies living in hiding, blending action and comedy with just a touch of romance.

I really loved the team and their journey to becoming a unified group. Their bickering was entertaining, and the fight scenes were well-executed. The acting is great across the board—the cast is filled with talented performers who brought their characters to life.

The drama kept my attention for the most part, though I did start losing interest towards the end. Still, it was a good watch—just don't go in expecting a top-tier drama.

Verdict: A fun, lighthearted spy drama with solid action and comedy. Entertaining enough, but not groundbreaking.

I agree with it being too long. The play is only 2 hours. 4 episodes would have probably been enough.
Yeah, I've never seen a drama dragged out so much. I was constantly checking how much time was left in each episode.

Thisss. Exactly my thoughts. I’m not going to say I expected more because it’s Netflix so I was expecting…
It's a real shame, like you said, it has everything to make a great drama, but it was missing that kick. It's seemed so long since I was constantly checking the time left on each episode. I was really looking forward to this drama.

I didn't expect this storyline at all, and I was genuinely surprised by how captivated I became. It was exciting to watch the story unfold and see the characters reveal their true colours. Some of the plot twists caught me off guard, while others were more predictable—but overall, it was still an enjoyable ride.

I was so happy for his wife in the end. The acting was great across the board, and Hyun Wook did an excellent job portraying his character.

I loved the ending—it was a great way to wrap things up.

That said, even though it was only 6 episodes, I somehow found the drama feeling too long. The storyline was strong, but the execution didn't quite match its potential. There were moments of tension, but not enough real thrill or suspense to keep me fully engaged throughout. It's a shame, because with a different approach to direction, this could have been something truly great.

Verdict: An interesting premise with some good twists and solid performances, but let down by uneven execution. Worth a watch if you're curious, but don't expect a gripping thriller.

Title Queenmaker
Queenmaker is a solid political drama with considerable potential.

The character development of Do Hee is one of the drama's strongest assets. Watching her evolve throughout the series was genuinely compelling, and her friendship with Sook provided a heartfelt counterbalance to the political intrigue.

The first half of the drama was particularly engaging—I was fully invested and eagerly anticipating each new episode. Unfortunately, the momentum began to falter in the second half. As the pacing slowed, I found myself skipping scenes to maintain interest.

The strategic planning and Do Hee's relentless fight against the system were the highlights of the series. It's a genuine disappointment that the drama couldn't sustain its early energy, as it had all the ingredients to be something truly exceptional.

Verdict: A promising political drama with strong character work and an engaging first half, but it loses its way in the latter episodes. Worth watching for fans of the genre and those invested in Do Hee's journey.

I'm on episode 5 and the drama's just okay, nothing special. I like the cases, but I'm not really feeling the thrill or the urge to watch the next episode. If I had nothing else to watch, I'd probably finish it, but it's a long 16 episodes. I'll probably just drop it.

Yet another overrated drama, in my opinion.

The production values are solid, and the acting is decent. Eun Woo has clearly been working on his craft—his improvement is noticeable and appreciated. The premise is intriguing, and I was genuinely drawn in during the early episodes.

However, Chae Ni's character completely ruined the experience for me. She had her funny moments, but her behaviour was so exaggerated and loud that I ended up skipping large portions of her scenes—and her friends' scenes too. I couldn't take another round of shouting. A little restraint in characterisation would have gone a long way.

The superhero concept felt fresh at first, but ultimately, the drama didn't offer anything particularly memorable. I struggled to connect with most of the cast. For me Jeong—was the only likeable character as he felt grounded and human, a stark contrast to everyone else around him.

Verdict: Solid production and a promising start, but let down by exaggerated characters and a forgettable execution. Worth a look if you're curious about the cast, but don't expect to be blown away.

It was an okay watch—perfect for passing the time when you have nothing else to watch.

The story was decent and the acting was solid overall. My favourite character was Bang UI—he really brought life to the screen every time he appeared. The horror atmosphere was well done and added a nice layer of tension to the drama.

That said, it wasn't anything particularly special. Nothing about it really stood out or left a lasting impression. It kept me entertained, but if it had been more than 8 episodes, I don't think I would have had the patience to finish it.

I did like our main couple and their determination to save each other. That was probably the most compelling part of the drama and kept me invested enough to see it through.

Verdict: A decent time-filler. Nothing groundbreaking, but enjoyable enough if you're looking for something light and short. Worth a watch if you have nothing better on your list.

Watching this drama felt like torture.

Getting through the first few episodes was genuinely painful because the male lead's character was completely unlikeable. I kept waiting for him to grow on me, but it just didn't happen. If you manage to push through that rough start, the drama does get a little better and becomes more watchable—but honestly? It was still too much for me.

The thought of sitting through another 8 long episodes? No. Just no.

What made it even harder was watching the female lead struggle and not being able to fight back. It was frustrating rather than engaging. By the end, I started skipping scenes just to get through it.

The acting was great—I can't fault the performances. But great acting alone couldn't save this one for me. I just couldn't force myself to finish it.

I am completely in love with this drama. Hooked from episode one all the way to the end—not a single boring episode. The storyline is incredibly engaging, blending present-day life with glimpses of past lives in a way that felt seamless and well-executed.

The leads absolutely smashed their roles. Their chemistry? Fire. I was giggling and laughing out loud throughout. Watching their relationship evolve from something like enemies to lovers was such a joy—their interactions were fun, natural, and kept me smiling.

Ji Yeon's performance is outstanding. I loved her in The Tale of Lady Ok and The Glory, and she shines just as brightly here. Nam Jun is equally impressive—he acts so powerfully with just his eyes. I adored him in A Hundred Memories, one of my all-time favourites, and he had great chemistry with the lead there too. Here, the pairing is just perfect.

I binge-watched this over the weekend because I simply couldn't stop. I'm so glad we still get dramas like this. For me, this drama and To My Beloved Thief are the best of the year so far.

The story flows beautifully and the ending was satisfying. Yes, there are a few plot holes—like what really happened to the real Dan, etc.—but honestly? I didn't care. I was having too much fun with our couple to let those details bother me.

Verdict: A must-watch. Perfect chemistry, great story, and a total joy from start to finish.

I completely understand the hype. The cast is visually stunning—IU and Woo Seok both look absolutely gorgeous. I loved their interactions and the playful teasing between them. Their chemistry felt natural and refreshing.

The concept was interesting too—mixing the modern world with Joseon elements was a unique blend that worked well. It was also a nice change of pace to see a couple who actually communicate and resolve issues quickly instead of dragging out misunderstandings for episodes.

I was captivated by the story in the beginning. But towards the end, I started skipping some scenes. It became a little dull. I'm not sure "boring" is quite the right word—it's more that something felt missing. The story was decent, the acting was fine, but overall it landed somewhere in the middle for me. Not great, not terrible. Just average.

It's a shame because I was hoping for another standout drama from Woo Seok after Lonely Runner, which I absolutely adored. I'm keeping my hopes up for his next project—Solo Leveling. I love the manga, so I truly can't wait to see what he does with it.

Verdict: Gorgeous cast, decent story, but something was missing. Worth a watch if you're a fan of the leads, but don't expect another Lonely Runner.

Title Gold Land
The rating on this one is way too low. It doesn't do the drama justice at all.

This is a slow-burn thriller about a coffin full of gold and the people who are blinded by greed—willing to do anything to get their hands on it. I found it really interesting to watch how each character reacted when temptation came knocking. The acting was great especialy the villan Park.

My favorite character was Woogy. I absolutely love him. He's such a pure soul in a world full of greed and darkness. As we saw more of Hui Ju's past, I understood why she made the choices she did. But I really didn't like her decision in the last episode. The ending also felt a bit off to me, especially the time jump. I really wanted to know what happened in between.

Still, the tension was real. I was on the edge of my seat and excited for every next episode. The female lead could be frustrating—she really should have known when to stop. Honestly, Woogy felt like the only truly human character in the whole drama.

I don't get the negative comments. This drama is genuinely really good.

Verdict: Ignore the low rating. This slow-burn thriller delivers tension, great acting, and a pure soul named Woogy.
