I agree it is a bit off-putting..especially when I was happy that for once the leads are similar ages IRL.

Yes I don't get it! Netflix promotes the fact that it shows series from various countries, not just those made in the US. Why then don't they show these shows everywhere at the same time? They promote these shows before their debut to create excitement and a buzz but then some countries can't watch them! This really annoys me and actually makes me want to end my Netflix subscription.

I'm thinking this will be a bit OTT and focussed on stores and characters. A different story each week perhaps? With a romantic sideline...I'm hoping this will be a fun watch.

I sort of agree. But having thought about it, one of the things I liked about the show was the ability to change things up so much and often over 30 minutes of run time. Like a lot of people I was expecting a longer last episode. But given they kept things short I think the writer/director did a great job overall in constantly showing something new and surprising the viewer. Not everything worked and it didn't seem to flow together as the other episodes did but I thought it was a very nice ending.

I think you make a really good point. It doesn't matter who you are, if you've been hurt and victimised you deserve sympathy and support.
