Exactly. I’m really sorry, but the fact that his boyfriend cheated on him isn’t such a big traumatic experience. Is it a pain in the arse? Yes. Could it make him feel insecure? Yes. But you can’t compare Toto’s struggles with Kanit’s. No. They’re not on the same ‘level’, because Toto is far more mature than Kanit. It’s Kanit who should be making an effort to measure up to Toto.

I’m not going to discuss the nature of human relationships with someone whose main interest is finding out whether the two of them had sex 🙄

Oh, I’ve got mixed feelings about this episode. I was really annoyed with Kanit, perhaps because his character felt so human. Although Kanit was worried about Toto, he simply took the easy way out: ‘Let’s break up and go our separate ways.’ Kanit is quite immature when it comes to relationships; he looks for the easy way out and makes a mountain out of a molehill. Kanit should have supported Toto and given him time, rather than breaking up with him. Keeping the "we’re on different levels,” Shi*ty mentality … Instead of reassuring Toto, telling him he loves him just as he is, he simply dumped him “for his own good”. I was so annoyed… And Toto just kept grovelling. I love them… But I feel like Toto gives so much more than he gets. Toto is constantly the one ‘improving himself’ to be ‘good enough’ for Kanit. Meanwhile, Kanit simply receives love and gives nothing back but a ‘sulky face’ in return. Will Kanit love him if Toto’s business takes off? So what about ‘for better or for worse’? Kanit needs to grow up; I feel he only thinks of himself and his own needs, he's like a spoiled kid who had an easy life. I’m sorry, but the hardest thing Kanit has ever had to go through in his life is living up to his father’s expectations. But Toto, he’s lost his father, his mother abandoned him, he had no option for education and he has to raise his little sister on his own. So yeah, Kanit is being dramatic. He felt guilty because Toto was trying too hard, and it was all too easy for him to break things off. As cruel as life itself.

Honestly! I think the fact that Kanit tells To, ‘Well, jerk off then,’ and the way they constantly show their love for each other (not just at specific moments), makes their relationship feel much more natural – very realistic!!

And the conversation they have at the end of the episode really tugged at my heartstrings🥀❤️. It was a very mature and realistic conversation. I can’t wait to see how their relationship develops! 😭🥹 The next episode, with To working multiple jobs to meet Kanit’s father’s expectations… I’m really looking forward to seeing how that turns out. I think both characters will learn a lot from that! 🥹🥹🥹

Sure, but what exactly is the problem with this series that needs changing? People are complaining about the ‘deception’ plotline where To pretends to be a pilot. But we humans are confusing, we make mistakes, sometimes we do stupid things… It’s normal. If everything went off without a hitch, the series would be boring, and then people would complain that the plot was too ‘nice’. It’s fine to accept certain flaws in the characters; that’s what makes them more realistic.

Can people please stop complaining and criticising the plot? The series isn’t in the running for the Oscars or Cannes. Just enjoy the chemistry, the great performances and a slightly messy plot. Although I must point out that, despite everything, this series tackles some very important issues, such as the influence of socio-economic status on both partners in a relationship, but it deals with these topics in a way that’s both entertaining and serious. If you don’t like it, don’t watch the series – go and have a look at the list of Goya winners instead.

I might be wrong, but I think that if the string is properly tensioned, the vibration (speech consists of vibrations that strike the eardrum, which our brain then converts into sound) travels through the string and reaches one place from another. So yes, I haven’t tried it, but I think it does work. The only thing that doesn’t quite add up is that KoKo speaks without tightening the string 😂😂😂

I can completely understand why Ko 1 hasn’t come to terms with his feelings for Ko 2 yet. It’s only natural that he has his doubts. Let’s remember that the series is set in an era when homosexuality was neither common nor normalised in the slightest. Furthermore, anyone who is part of the LGBTQ+ community will understand that coming out isn’t something that happens in a matter of days, weeks or even months. So Ko 1’s current actions, doubts and feelings are entirely normal for his age and the era in which he lives.

I started watching the series with very low expectations, thinking it would be a silly comedy... But how wrong I was. This series is brilliant. It strikes the perfect balance between humour, romance and serious moments. Toto is a walking ‘green flag’, and the chemistry between Tay and New is wonderful. I highly recommend it; I’m afraid it’s very underrated – more people should give it a go !
