Title Dearest
The closing OST is amazing! Loving it after episode 1. Goodneess what an interesting and amazing drama! No screaming no yelling just amazing acting, no over the top scenes. Wow what a family talk about dirty laundry! I am only on episode 13. This is getting good. The chemeistry between the main lead sizziling and I have wached a lot of short length drama's as well as long drama's and this one beats a lot of the drama's out there. No fluff that you get in a 60 episode 1 hr long drama's. I am rooting for the mother even though she had some bad habits but her back story is complex. Will update as I get further in!

hey, not all africans did that and don't drag them into this
I never said all Africans did that. I gave an example of people in history whose descendants are not expected to apologize for what their ancestors did. Obviously not every African participated in the slave trade, just as not every Korean collaborated with Japan. My point is that descendants should not inherit the guilt of their ancestors.
Ha Young did not choose what her great-grandfather did. If she praised something he did because she didn't know the full history, she has already corrected the record once she learned more and apoloized for her prvious words. But expecting her to personally apologize for actions committed by her great-grandfather is something else entirely. She didn't commit those acts.
Maybe her great-grandfather did terrible things. That still doesn't make Ha Young guilty of them. We can acknowledge history without assigning guilt by bloodline. The sins of an ancestor are not automatically the sins of their descendants.

Guess people the world over are overly sensitive. Guess what in Africa the african people sold thier own as slaves! Do thier genstarions today mention that no!. Get over it.Her great grandfather became a doctor and did what he had to do to survive in those harsh times. He did what he had too. Is there evidence that he harmed people as a doctor? He saved people. I maynot know Korean history but seriously why does she have to apoloize for her great grandfather. Maybe just maybe she was jsut proud of the fact that she had a gread grandfater who was a doctor during that time period and was proud of him. Why blame the generations after? The sins of the father are not the sins of the son. People need to learn to seperate the two. I feel sorry for the actress having to apoloize to the Korean public. The Korean netzines and public are pretty horrible as they do not let actors and actresses have a life.

This show gets better with every episode, especially after the fourth one when it starts romcomming. I was dying…
Episode 6 was funny as heck! the stuffed bra scene. The bra pad falling out! The FL is great she is such a good actress for comedy as well as the serious scenes but her comedic timing is awesome.

What I dont get is when she found out her real name why not look it up on the Korean equivalent of Fb? or for that matter google or look up her ex boyfriend? Why meetup in Seoul? Do a simple search first! This is 2026!?

Update: Finised all the episodes but I did skip the boring parts to me. I really like the FL. I wanted to see how the FL recovers he memory and what happens to the villian. Okay so this turned out to be good. I only keep watching because I like actresses playing the FL I can't wait to watch more of her movies and drama's wish she had more main roles! She was awesome in her comedic timing as well as the serious side to her job she pulled it off beautifully! The ML left a lot to be desired even his tough part of him looked like a pretty boy fighting. He somehow could not pull off the grit required to showcase a tough gonna beat you up and kill you attitude for a bad guy. He did a decent enough job showing his tender side but making him not date anyone else kinda weak. If he was a second in command to the boss he would have had some experience. Does not mean he had to get together with every other women he liked (if the writer wrote that in).

What gets me in watching drama's with cops, firefighters, doctors and rescue personal, there is always people who family members get rescused etc. and teh family only lays the blame and passes the buck by not taking responsibility for thier actions. Like the couple in episode 11 who were the reason for thier daughter's demise yet the y blame the firefighters instead of being thankful. Every chinese drama I have seen the people not being grateful and the firefighters, police, doctors not standing up for thier rights and telling point blank the people are wrong instead of blaming them. Must be a cultural phenomenon as it it depticed in every single drama I have watched in regards to personel who save people. I wonder if this is reality in China? Are not grateful when some one saves thier family member regardless of thier family finicial situtation. I get that in China you have to pay for your medical bills but still seperate issue from being grateful.

Title Fireworks of My Heart Spoiler
She annoyed the hell out of me in the first half of the drama. She kept messing up Song Yan's life and kept saying…
@jinyun: Yeah the FL is pretty frustrating in the first half! She is very fickle and indecisive. Song Yan only every loved her and no one else. So there was no chance for the other Firefighter psychologist to ever date him even though she liked him, Song Yan would never give her the oppurtunity.
In the novel the material is a lot darker as Dr. Xu has CPTSD (complex post traumatic stress disorder) from her parents dying. Her mother killed her father and set the house on fire but Xu survived. Her adoptive parents are very controlling. Therefore her only sanctuary is her job which she does not move away from even though her adoptive family does not like it. The novel offers a more complex and darker background for her character.

Dr. Xu eventually finds healing in her relationship with Song Yan in the present.
In the novel thier physical relationship in more intense and mentioned several times in the novel. In thier teens they were quite prolific! As adults even more so!! They definelty liked exploring in that area of thier relationship :)

If it helps in the novel they get together fairly early none of the nonsense that they show in the drama. It is much faster paced in the novel and the brother Meng is a minor character none of this brotherly love for his sister exsits in the novel.

So you made a profile just to write one bad rewiew of a drama you didn't watch?
Stick to the paticulars of the drama instead of making comments about people and do read before commenting.

Just something about the ML that seems off... good to look at but his character... I just dont find him very likeable regardless of looks. The rest of the other characters are more interesting. Jsut on episode 5 but it looks like the story is getting better with each episode.

This poster just looks weird. The FL looks like she has a very long torso. He's holding her waist so her butt…
That is her lower back not her butt.

Wow! Very heartwarmign and sweet. No major drama sweet slice of life and healing. What amazing me is the actress is 30 and the male actor is only 19. Refreshing tidbit.

Title Perfect Crown Spoiler
Seriously, can they not use fire so much it has been overused in this drama! I thinkthe queen mother has come around. I dont think she did that much evil as she was genuinely shocked when the gran d princess collasped. A few of us were correct she did love Ian from her school days. Her father is truly awful. I want to think that the PM may be helping the Grand prince but I don't think so. Maybe I am wrong and there is hope for the PM.

I am liking the Queen mum more and more looks like she is another bird in a gilded cage. I can sympathize with her plight, looks like she did not have much parental love and what about her mum?
Episode 7 cliffhanger saw that coming for miles! No suprise there.

My theory about the premarital pregnancy scene. We all notice how Queen Dowager’s face changed when Yi An mentioned…
@Hannaehh: What if the 8 year old king is actually the youngest brother! As in the previous King had a relationship with the current queen and the eldest son had to marry her to put off any rumours. Maybe that is why she is jealous and of In An relationship with Hui Ju and maybe the queen was in love with In An! and he did not like her. The current queen gets a bit too emotional about In An.

I am loving this show. Ep3 was fantistic!!! I was squealing and laughing so munch my other half came up to see what was wrong. I told him I was enjoying my drama! I love IU in this she is amazing. She speaks volumes with just a eyes and her lips. The slight tremble in her lips after he told her yes. She was unsure but happy. It sad how both the main leads have had a similar life unloved by thier family and not allowed to do what they wnat having to fight for everything. I love how in this episode the Prince actually asked her how she was doing and cared for her well being. Love both the assistant's they are pretty funny.

For real. I could handle the love triangle just fine, but the mistakes they made on the last 2 episodes really…
@Pinwheel agree the mistakes made in the last two episodes just do not make sense. Look how carefully they were watching Woo Joo when they were outdoors. the second last episode needed expanding, that should have been ep 4 or 5 and then on going showing ther growth as a family and jsut daily struggles until ep 12. Showing HJ growth into a more responsible person would have been better. Simple slice of life wouldhave made for a great show also there does not need to be a lot of drama.

I cannot wach episode 12 why would the writer show HJ to be so careless for the past few months she has never left the door open and always taken care of the kid. Stupid writers, cant stand them nobody makes that many mistakes. Seriously, going togo watching the rest. TH should have been there to support her and say that he could not do the shoot on that day. Getting custody if the kid is more important than the shoot that can be rescheduled.
