Full of flying butterflies in my belly

For the first few minutes, the settings of the show were too serious that I thought the series would be boring. I almost ended dropping the show. Thankfully, I did not.

The show was like a butterfly. You would need to wait for some time so it could fully transform into a beautiful butterfly. If I may say, the first half and second half of the show each have a difference in color.

The first half offered us the reality of life (especially through Yu Tu's life); how we sometimes waver in choosing between living our dream and living the life that other people expected us to live. Though, in between of those, we still had some ice breaker where the two leads would play games which gamers can relate to. As someone who plays games, the victory and defeat sound really made me familiar with the show. BTW, the live game where JingJing and Yu Tu played side by side was one of my faves. I was so excited all throughout that episode.

The second half, on the other, was full of colors. The show flew a lot of butterflies in my stomach enough for me to feel full. I was smiling all throughout each episode from EP21. There are shows that make me lose interest when the leads started their relationship as it was too cringy for me. This show isn't one of those shows. One of the best things for me on the show was the chemistry of the leads. They look so natural together and it was so comfortable to watch them. I even replay some of the scenes because I super duper like their interactions. I love how playful they are. I can't help but giggle every time they do something mischievous. I also love how there are not many hindrances to their relationship and I love how they are so low-key yet they still manage to be so proud of their relationship. I'll also commend how the show gave us a glimpse of aerospace engineer's life.

AND TO GIVE EMPHASIS, EPISODES 21-32 are the best. ♥
Kudos to everyone who contributed to the show.

Can't get enough!!!!

Been watching the show right away after it was aired and I don't know how to feel about it. I can't wait to finish all the episodes all at once but at the same time, I don't want it to end. There was never a dull moment and every single character are as important as the main leads.

Besides the fact that I love the casting, the first episode had me looking forward to what is to come. I can't help but smile whenever both of the leads smile, their characters are simply adorable. And their dimples, I don't think I'll ever get tired looking at their dimples. Who will not love them?

With just the first episode, I'm already sure that this show is another gem. I know I'll love the show and all the casts. Not only the leads but also the supporting actors will make you look forward to what kind of role they will play in the story. I loved the pilot episode, I loved the second episode more, and I think I'll fall deeper in love in every episode that will come (as I'm watching it ongoing as of the moment). The story was very heartwarming and relatable. Heartwarming in a way that even when they were not a family by blood, all of them seem like a family. It was really soothing to watch. And the life lessons in the series!!! It's another thing to look forward to. In just two episodes, I was already reminded of the good things one can do while living this life. I also enjoyed looking at different perspectives of people as the characters have distinctive differences despite sharing some similarities.

One of the comparative perspectives that I like is the generation gap. As the place is set in the countryside, Yoon Hye Jin (Shin Min Ah) and the elders' characters definitely don't match given that the elders' are conservative. But what made me love the different perspective part is when Hong Doo Shik (Kim Seon Ho) is in the picture. It's rare to meet someone with a very open-minded mind and is up for understanding the people around him/her. He plays a vital role in uniting the people's town together. He's like the bridge connecting everyone. He is definitely my favorite character because of that. Also, watching him act like that will make you wonder what his story is. You know the saying that a person with more scars is the kindest, I think he's one of them. Yoon Hye Jin is also the same but she's not the showy type so it may take time before you realize her kindness which will make you actually look forward to what she has to offer more. Their kindness combo is something I will really love to see. Plus, it's coated with their strong chemistry, something that will make you feel good all throughout the runtime. The whole cast chemistry is actually another thing.

Watching the series will definitely make you realize different dreams, personalities, and kindness in people. The show surely offers different faces of love; may it be eros or agape. So far, I was never bored while watching. I actually feel light, relaxed, and happy as I watch the show. Of course, the OST played a crucial part in creating that vibe.

It was a job well done so far.
Kudos!

Seo In Guk & Lee Soo Hyuk Chemistry

It was when I watched them in Boss In the Mirror (Korean Variety Show) that I decided to watch this movie. First, I have loved their chemistry off and on camera, especially In Guk and Soo Hyuk's. I will be lying if I said it was not their looks that captivated me because, in all honesty, it really played a vital role. Though, other than their looks, they are also both good at acting, and watching them on one screen is such a gift to all viewers. I was really glad I get to watch them both here and in the Korean drama Doom at Your Service. Lee Soo Hyuk's character here is very unlikeable but I can't bring myself to hate him, he looked too good to be hated. Lol. Plus, I really loved him in DAYS almost that it overpowers his role here. Of course, Seo In Guk will always offer us good acting no matter what his role is. This is now my new favorite character of his, next to his bad-boy self in The Smile in Your Eyes.

The story was okay but it isn't impressive enough to be embedded in one's mind. Actually, I think it's the actors that carried the movie. Not sure if that was intentional. The casting was good and the teamwork is better. I like everyone even the villain. lol. Oh, and I will never forget to commend the actions, I'm always impressed with how they direct the action scenes.

All in all, just a personal opinion, my 2 hours did not go to waste. I couldn't say it was worth it but still, I had a good watch.

Just for Laughs

I did not have much expectation before starting the movie. I thought it would be the usual spy-kind-of-movie but I was proved wrong. It was very fun and I laughed a lot during the watch. I had to get through the first 20-minute mark though. The real fun started after that brief introduction. Not all movies will pique your interest right from the start just like this one but the movie deserved a chance to be watched. I especially like the fighting scenes. As expected from Korean action directors, it was very witty. The leads' chemistry is unique too. Not something that you will always see but they have pulled off the perfect chemistry suitable for the movie's vibe. Their chemistry added fuel to the fun.

If you're up for a movie that won't require a lot of thinking but is more on laughing, this one is for you.

High School Feels

If you want something light, this one's for you. High school students can definitely relate to this drama and adults can definitely reminiscence while watching this drama. It's the perfect series to kill time but if you are in the mood for a series that will keep you looking forward to the plot, this one is not for you.

The plot was simple and light. There was some conflict but not too much to be considered heavy. To be honest, nothing was really special since it was almost the same as the other stories but it still is cute and lovely in its own way. The whole show screams YOUTH. So, if you want to go back or enjoy the feeling of being youthful, add this to your list for that mood.
