I mean let’s be objective, Luan Nian is insane but Zhi Tao isn’t that innocent either! Seems like some people are hellbent on ONLY making Luan Nian guilty and the cause for everything that is toxic in their relationship! She might not have a foul mouth as him but her actions that set him off are valid cause of his crashout! Zhi Tao wanted the secret relationship so he agreed, she picked the Friday meetups and he agreed (mad what she was doing on the weekends that she lied about), she said they were nothing but colleagues to people but got mad when he doesn’t want to introduce her to his family. In the novel it was a bit different but in the show it seems Zhi Tao is the one setting all the rules in the “relationship”?

My point isn’t that she is worse but some people are doing too much with only calling out Luan Nian’s faults. The consistent thing about Luan Nian in both novel and show is that he has always wanted to be her priority, granted he never communicated this to her but that’s what he wanted the most and she constantly (with her actions) showed he was not ! which set him off. Goodness me if the novel Luan Nian was adapted into the novel as is 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

But the bag thing was really stupid! yeah she definitely put him in his place even though she just forgives him everytime. They are both silly to some extent with incredible bad communication.

i made it my mission to avoid all the spoilers on social media and that’s the only way i made it today! it’s been difficult for sure but glad i held out because one episode a day is truly torture. On Luan Nian, i don’t know why but for me i was able to figure him out early on in the book so maybe i will have no issues in the show either but no idea how much they have changed his character on the show.

For once my decision to wait and binge had paid off 🤭 Time to dive in! One episode a day is proper torture so i am gonna watch sloooowly and rewind every good scene just for the sake of it 😂
