Yeah i get what you mean but it’s the part where she blamed him for their daughter’s death all those years that just doesn’t sit well with me! it’s not right! If anything he should be more mad because it’s her dad that chose not to tell him his daughter was in a critical condition because of his own selfish ambition! it’s just a nasty situation! I just don’t get why she blamed him especially since i don’t think he would have been allowed to operate on their daughter anyways so why blame him???

Didn’t comfort her? is she not the one who was cold towards him and would cut any form of advances to even have decent conversations in the beginning? so because he is a doctor he should just take it? And he looked proper depressed all those episodes in the beginning so i don’t know what you are on about not looking sad. but ey that’s your opinion we can agree to disagree i guess

Best chemistry i have seen in a while! The hugs where amazing!I love watching Zhang Ji Yi in romantic shows because she is not stiff with romantic scenes and is a great actress when it comes to delivering different kind of emotions. Haven’t watched Wei Long a lot but this might have convinced me to deep dive into his work! Great watch!!!

Chen Yi is also her ex! she doesn’t care about her ex,all she cares about is Chen Yi choosing her so if anything her ex is unintentionally helping her agenda to get a reaction out of Chen Yi. Not that it’s the right way but Chen Yi won’t budge unless she nudges! also let’s not forget he also runs to fight Tu Li’s battles which is something Miao Jing hates because not only is it his ex situationship but it’s putting himself in danger. They are both just complicated.

I think it’s because he is fighting his demons and she keeps wanting him to give her reassurance but he isn’t. Even when she asked him before that car scene if he was there as her boyfriend or a worker he still didn’t directly tell her he was there as her boyfriend! and at the wedding he wished she was safe and happy and when she assumed that by that he didn’t even consider a future of them together and even told him that, he still didn’t correct her! Going off the novel her behavior was a way to push him to pick her and not constantly push her away as to her, he was her only family! I feel like they are trying to kinda have that same plot on the show but it’s sometimes lost in translation and making her look extremely selfish and inconsiderate!

The toxicity in the novel was so buzzy though 😫 Oh well i am just watching a spin off then. Gonna wait to binge after all the episodes end because i am strugggling with these two episodes a day 🙂‍↔️

I get why you would think that but then again I feel she had to up her crazy to deal with him as he is crazy too. She knew what buttons to push for sure. To her he was all she had and she wasn’t going to let him abandon her too.

Glad it looks like they didn’t tone down Miao Jing unhingness as much, though i think they’ll have to for some book scenes (if they make it). I especially like that even though they kinda changed the story she still runs that house and him, even though he thinks he does 😂

still on episode one, i do not care what her damn back story is because i HATE characters like her! Give the man a divorce and go about sulking in peace 😤
