This is a excellent drama that addresses the pain and consequences of cyberbullying as well as the dangers of Internet vigilante justice. The first episode had many things in common with the cyberbullying that lead to the suicide of actress Hana Kimura in May of 2020. Cyberbullying is prevalent in countries around the world, and I believe this is one of the first dramas to tackle the issue as its main plot.

Each episode portrayed a single case, but there was an underlying plot that moved forward throughout the series, which they wrapped up well in the end.

The acting was good, and I especially enjoyed Katori Shingo (Monsters) and Shim Eun Kyung (Seven Secretaries) in their roles. Sekimizu Nagisa's character Usui was rather annoying at times, but her totally opposite personality from Banjo made for an interesting partnership.

Whether you agree with the Keyboard Murder Department's mindset or that of Anonymous, you won't regret watching this drama.

A Hidden Gem

This short, older crime drama is well worth watching. A different crime is solved each episode, and it's interesting to follow the two main leads' opposing investigation methods and see a mutual respect slowly, albeit grudgingly, grow. I especially like how some of the characters change for the better while remaining true to their standards. I found this a much more realistic portrayal than a sudden attitude reversal.

While the plot wasn't anything new, it was well executed. The ML's backstory was a little confusing at first, but it was slowly revealed over the eight episodes in a way that made sense.

The actors were well cast and played their roles quite well. You may recognize a few of them from their more recent dramas.

Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

A supernatural drama that warms the heart

I wasn't expecting much when I decided to watch this drama, but was I pleasantly surprised. I absolutely loved it! Normally I don't like to watch shows that make me cry, but this was quite the exception. Plus I was happy with the ending.

I really liked the onscreen chemistry between the characters Pu Yi Yong and Cao Guang Yan. It was nice to see how their friendship developed. They were never the buddy-buddy type, but it was clearly a bromance by the end. The cop, Chen Chu Ying, was annoying at times, as she was selfish, quick tempered, and emotional. But she improved as the series went on. I thought she ended up the kind of cop she'd wanted to be from the beginning.

I highly recommend watching this drama. You won't regret it.

It was an interesting mystery--not so much figuring out who's the murderer, but figuring out how to prove it. While there were a few plot holes, it nevertheless engaged my interest (mostly because of Mukai Osamu).

Mukai Osamu as Takehara and Higa Manami as Tsumura worked well together as a team. Despite working for a dingy tabloid magazine, he never forgot his roots as an investigative reporter. Tsumura started out as a pretty wishy-washy character in my opinion. I was happy to see that change, however, thanks to Takehara's influence and finding out the real reason for the murder.

Unfortunately, the villains were one-dimensional cliché characters, and not even decent actors could remedy that.

I didn't notice the music, and I would not rewatch it, but it's an okay movie to watch if you're bored.

Excellent Rescue Drama

I wasn't expecting much from this drama initially, but with good acting, a decent plot, and exceptional character development, I couldn't help loving it. I went from having the urge to repeatedly slap the ML upside his head to wanting to give him a heartfelt salute as the series progressed.

What I liked most about this series was the lack of melodrama. Yes, there were conflicts among the characters and within themselves. But the drama focused on how they worked through those conflicts while facing life-threatening situations on a daily basis.

The only thing I didn't like was the ML's former teacher. While I understand the intent, I found the way she constantly interjected herself into his life made her seem more like a creepy stalker than a caring teacher. That aside, I was very happy with this drama.

Give this gem a try. You won't be disappointed, and you'll enjoy seeing some notable actors in their early days on screen.

I was expecting just another typical disaster movie, but The Tower surprised me in the best possibly way.

Story:
While the plot itself is nothing new, the execution was IMO brilliant. In movies of this type, the initial character setup and relationships makes the beginning of the movie drag. The Tower had just the right amount of setup at just the right pace.

Actors/Cast:
Sol Kyung Gu is one of my favorite actors, and he did not disappoint! Kim Sang Kyung and Son Ye Jin gave excellent performances, as well. Jo Min Ah was perfect as Lee Dae Ho’s daughter. I look forward to seeing her grow as an actor.

Special effects:
The special effects were awesome, and the pyrotechnics were extremely well done.

Music:
The music matched the mood of each scene perfectly.

Rewatch value:
I don't usually rewatch a movie of this genre, but I might make an exception for this one.
