Sorry to say !! but I can't figure out where this drama is headed to ? what is really happening, talented one does not care to play, untalented wants to play (cliche) .. then there is sudden changes i want o play I don't want to play, the hatred shown by grandfather (clearly he wants Pi O to try more) the dynamic of ladies in Pi O family, the cliched tension of loan shark .. the FL lead is in backdrop, this all seems so disbursed and no focus on , if its about relationship, music, betrayal etc .. At this point I'd suggest just make it mundane BL ..
This series of Korean John Wick. Loved it. Simple plot, revealed with nice pace, was utterly entertaining. Gong Myung love him, but he is too cute to be play a bad guy. His face, eyes betray him, despite he giving a good performance. His soul is just too sweet
This series is a perfect example of how NOT to make a BL series. Or take a BL manwha and strangle it with straight couple focus.
It does show that the makers did not have any interest in making BL series but rather use the BL clout and popularity to make some name/money.
An excellent actor/talent like Ahn Ji Ho is wasted in this series . Also I wonder what was the point of the character Seung Won. He being the ML with least screen presence. He could have been shown directly in last episode as guy whom Hee Su likes.
Annoying was that they did not even do the straight couple plot well. This could have been straight couple story with Heesu somewhere in background, but even there they could not deliver.
All in all, makers did not know where to head to, and tried to travel with legs on 2 different boats. We got mishmash of things with talent being wasted.
