Yes i definitely agree that he is lucky to get this project but he deserves it too because he has been working for so many years and i am glad finally he got the opportunity to play lead roles and i hope more people can recognize his spectacular acting skills! And you're saying that only actors who get a chance to play in bl dramas become popular, right? I think i somehow agree to this. For example gong jun, zhang zhe han, xiao zhan , yibo zhu yi long etc they all became famous through bl dramas but it aint like they dont deserve the popularity they are getting. They put in their whole heart and earnest dedication while portraying their characters and if they didnt do it in the best possible way then they wouldnt have become popular. Its all because of their excellent acting skills. And mind you, they all landed the main roles for the bl dramas through interviews and all. The directors and the team casted the actors themselves because they thought they could display their characters in the best possible way, which they did! Moreover some actors such as Yang Yang, Deng Lun, Li xian and xu kai they all became famous without acting in bl dramas. And what do you mean by other dramas dont get famous? You know what there are so many popular historical dramas too like the long ballad, the story of minglan, princess agents and many more that i cant name right now. And some modern dramas such as "falling into your smile "that made xu kai's popularity sky rocket and "you're my hero" that made bai jinting even more popular. So you know its not only necessary for bl dramas to get popular unless the script and the directing is poor etc

idk what exactly is the problem with people like you. When popular actors are casted in bl dramas then you guys have a problem with it saying that these actors are already popular so why are they casted in bl dramas and others should be given a chance too etc and when actors who arent that famous are casted then people like you have a problem with it too. In my opinion these two actors are very good. I have seen liu xue yi in love and redemption and ancient love poetry and honestly aside for being good looking he can act really well. And even if these two actors are going to be famous, that's solely because of their hard work and that because they deserve it, not because of what you're thinking

lmao i really cant get what you are tryna say. "Love and redemption gave him fame" yes it did and he became popular because as Shooting star mentioned, he is a very good actor. He truly deserves it. Yes you're right about the fact that he did many support roles so girl shouldnt you be appreciating his hardwork instead of condemning his looks and acting? i mean he did really work before he could actually get main roles and i am happy that he would soon hopefully be getting the recognition he deserves!

I need all the people questioning her popularity in the comments below to hear this out. The popularity she is getting right now is all because of her dedication and hardwork. She has three dramas per year so do you guys think she ever gets the time to rest? She always puts in her earnest effort in the character she plays and moreover her acting and her voice is very natural which makes her performance even more impressive. And as far as her having any back up in the industry is concerned, i dont think she has any strong backup. She started off with low-budget dramas and the scripts werent good either. In 2020 TROTAR and DITK sky rocketed her popularity and it wasnt because these dramas were high-budget dramas or whatever. Despite being low-budget dramas, they still managed to become popular because of lusi's spectacular performance and good directing and script. I believe if she did have any back up, she would have started with good dramas rather than playing roles in those cheap dramas.
