I think Wu lei is very much confirmed as the male lead since the news was from a reliable melon account on weibo and it even made a hot search. Recently, bvlgari posted photos of wu lei and lusi on their weibo and they both are announced as brand ambassadors too. So considering all this, the rumour must be accurate but still let's wait for the official announcement. And i also heard this drama will start shooting after who rules the world in August and will continue for approx 3-4 months

I don't think so this date is confirmed yet. MDL is mostly not accurate in predicting release dates. We should wait for the official announcement. I hope it will air before 29th May

I've known him for the past two years and I completely agree with everything you have mentioned above but I'm kinda disappointed because he deserves a far better female lead. And you have mentioned his booting ceremony was on hot search, yes you're right, but the reason why it made an hot search was because of hongyi's expressions. Everybody was talking about his expressions and the way he seemed not at all interested in the female lead. The female lead looked towards him with a smile, and he reacted back with a frown on his face. It was very much clear he wasn't happy. I like hongyi too...I wish he gets a better script very soon

what's even your problem? we just meant that hongyi deserves a far better female lead. Ngl this one looks quite older than him. We just need a good romance drama with good chemistry. And also in c entertainment industry, aside from acting, good looks matter too so nobody cares about your comment. And I have heard many people say they won't watch the drama because of the female lead because looking good matters too. I can just hope she can act well otherwise the drama will be a flop

I am expecting good chemistry between the leads but at the same time I think I might ship lusi with Ren hao more lol. Anyways, I have no fear of bad chemistry in lusi's dramas. I have seen some of main leads' clips together and they look good.

there are some rumours on weibo that this drama might get a bit delayed due to ren hao's recent scandals. His drama 'ancient love poetry' is also getting delayed because his scenes need to be completely cut off. I hope it won't happen with this drama

I wish he rejected the script because I can't watch the drama with this female lead. Moreover, his hardwork will be wasted and if the script is not good (like most of his other dramas) then this drama will be a complete flop.
