The Untamed can never be overrated. I actually think this drama is still underrated. It didnât get nearly as much hype as it deserved. Iâve literally watched more than half of the Chinese and Korean dramas out there, and almost every drama has the same tropes. The Untamed is one of those dramas that feels completely different from the rest.
Only people who truly understand storytelling, emotions, plot, and mystery will be able to appreciate this drama. For people who only care about the romance between the male and female leads, it might just seem boring. Otherwise, The Untamed is simply unbeatable. To this day, I havenât seen another drama quite like it.

Duan Jiaxu and Sang Zhiâs acting in The First Frost feels so stiff, like theyâre statuesđ„ČIf they had been cast in Hidden Love, it probably wouldnât have been as popular as it is today.And anyway, Hidden Love came out first. The First Frost came two years later.
