I just realized: we were not privy to the whole conversation between CK, CH and JL. And the next thing we know is that Jin Luo was caught by the Demon King who presented her to HX. Is it possible they planned this...? What do you think?
I wonder what is the reason HX keeps asking CK to fix his primordial spirit. When CK's primordial spirit is fully…
The theory is that he wants to use CK's healing power to heal himself (either by stealing it or by making CK heal him). CK is a very powerful healer and HX's body is sick because of the doom mark and possibly from MY's power.
You know what? It seems that this series is fulfilling our fangirling dreams in these episodes (CK and CH retaining the past memories, CH revealing herself to JL, CK and XM teaming up, CH confusing even the Red Thread Master with her XY act...)
You know what I would like next that doesn't concern the leads?
If this one has a satisfying ending, it will have the highest rewatching value on my list๐๐๐
Honestly? Same. I love LBFaD, I really do, but it's hard to pick out the cute optimistic bits from the sea of angst with that drama. But LYST? If it ends on high note, all episodes are VERY rewatchable, even the earliest ones. (Usually when I need pretty xianxia to destress, I go for eps 24โ27 of ELoD...)
I would bet he does as well. Whether he'll manage to keep them, considering the price tag on the Demon King power, is a different question. But I understand that they needed to raise the stakes for the finale....
For the novel readers: judging from the previews for 33-34, the spiked wine is making a comeback!
I think that in the book it was given by Zihui? It's been a while since I've read the book and I am not sure if it was really drugged with aphrodisiac or they just thought it was....
Does the demon king CK have his immortal memories?
At this point, even judging from the previews for 33-34, it's extremely difficult to tell. But CK plans ahead and he is very focused on getting the Demon King power, so I don't think that he lost his memories completely. If I had to guess, I'd say he only subdued his real self and he's putting on a show for the demons. I guess we'll know more after tomorrow's episodes ;).
Don't you just love that the CH's "friend" the Scorpion Demon evetually became the Scorpion King?! Good for him (and for his sweetheart)! I love this bit of world building!!!
Is it worth watching ? And which recent show might be similar to this?. I loved destined ( become my fav drama…
Yes, it is worth watching if you don't enjoy too angsty dramas, this might be exactly you cup of tea <3. I recommend: 1) Do not judge the leads (both actors and characters) based on first episodes. Trust me, there is a plot reason why they portrayed the way they are at the beginning. They both gain depth as the show progresses. 2) The first mortal trial that follows the animal one drags (eps 2โ12). Just use the fast forward button if you feel like it and watch just the scenes with the leads and maybe Zihui/Yingshi moments. You will not be missing much and every consequent life is better than the previous one. So far, the quality is rising and we all hope it will finish on high note because the last fifteen episodes or so have been a blast!
I donโt get it. Does them going to the past count towards their tribulation? Also iโm confused because were…
Yes, reliving the past counts as one of the seven lives. And yes, he did lose his memory 30000 years ago, I believe it was said in the first episode. (After today's episode we'll see how the memory loss occured, the theory is that his brother did that)

Zihui rescuing Jin Luo from HX's dirty paws!!!

We went from the depths of angst and desperation to a more playful territory....again!
I love this bit of world building!!!
Me: YES, LIKE YOUR WEDDING NIGHT!!!
"If you want to get the hell out here, you gotta pay the toll!"
