this show was sweet. like incredibly sweet. no big stakes, no toxicity, just a wholesome group of gay little losers getting together into couples and I recommend it to anyone who wants warmth and comfort. I feel kinda sad that I finished it, because I really felt part of the friend group. I do wish it had more of a plot and not vague concepts thrown together. all in all, it was wholesome slice of life stuff and I still ate it up. I now need something angsty and toxic or else I'll get some kinda sugar rush lol.Was this review helpful to you?

I can't come up with a good title so this will do
Wow where do I even begin. I mean if you're looking for a sweet romance you're at the wrong address here. This isn't your typical BL to squee about handsome guys smooching where they get together in the end. This is an intense story about heartache and loss, about growing up, the folly of youth and motherhood, coming to terms with who you are as a person and trying to change someone who doesn't want to be changed. It's tender yet harsh, funny yet sad. There is a bittersweet aftertaste to it all and it leaves you thinking about yourself, your relationship with others and in general your place in the world. It took me ages to finish this series because you gotta be in the right frame of mind to watch it. You don't just go in all willy nilly. With the slow burn and quiet pacing this show is certainly one hell of a commitment, but a good one. Also the cinematography is absolutely gorgeous and I could just look at shots from the show and be happy. I recommend it but only if you're prepared to take this journey.Was this review helpful to you?
Y'all don't know her (this show) like I do
Listen I don't know what happened here. Maybe I watched a different show. Maybe I hallucinated a much better show than y'all watched. I LOVED this show so much like I was hooked. I had to force myself not to binge watch it. I loved the intense story, and the chemistry between the couple was top notch. Some people here called it a bromance, are y'all good? Like mentally? 'waaah the kissing looked off' almost like they're playing awkward teenagers grappling with their complex emotions or something and as their relationship develops so do the kisses. You know like a real relationship. This show gets overhated and I think it deserves a fair chance. Don't listen to the the haters or the rating they left, go in with an open mind and give it a fair chance anyway. Maybe you won't like what you see or maybe you'll find your next binge watch.TL;DR Dangerous Romance is fantastic you are all just mean.

Kicking my legs and giggling all the way!
Awe man I just finished this and I'm just so happy I invested my time in this. I usually hate shows that have hour long episodes but I looooooove shows that can make that hour go by fast and this show man god damn. Perfect. Everything just fell into place all the time. I was worried about some aspects like would they do the dumbass liar reveal trope thing? Which they did but they handled it well by having everyone react realistically: grieving the loss of Torfun.I was also worried about the slow burn aspect but hehehe it was so good!!! It was so worth the wait when they finally got together and smooched and the romance build up flowed organically.
Even the more out there aspects of the show fit in. The whole smuggling thing? Foreshadowed throughout the show and that's just an example. Some people might get annoyed at the product placement but I didn't mind them.
The soundtrack btw GOD DAMN WAS IT LOVELY. It was soothing and beautiful and damn it I just really liked this show. I cried, I laughed, I kicked my legs and giggled even though I'm a fully grown man. I'm kissing this show on the forehead happily.

More than a BL
Yes, more of this! Heartache and drama and a complete emotional rollercoaster! More series that grab me by the collar and shake me until my head hurts. This perfectly portrays a toxic relationship between two horrible people who need help and probably will never get it. I was enamoured with this show and I'm sad it's only six episodes. If David Lynch made a BL, it would be this one
Damn this one was good. Like really really good. Who let David Lynch direct a BL?? Who knows! But I really loved this one and it deserves all the praise it gets! I did initially knock half a point down for the seemingly slow start but after that hurdle it was smooth sailing from there! I believe I'm not exaggerating with my 10/10 rating. This series is so good it made me get a subscription to a streaming service, I mean if that doesn't sell you idk what will.Was this review helpful to you?

Listen idk what kind of crack they put into this show that made me want to binge it entirely in one afternoon but I absolutely loved every second of it and idk why the people here seem to be so naggy about it. It was fun, heartbreaking and interesting and the soundtrack. God. THE SOUNDTRACK. I wanna rotate this soundtrack in my brain like in a microwave it was so beautiful. Basically don't listen to the negative comments they're wrong and I think this was a fine show.Or maybe I have low standards. Oh well!
