My beautiful general wife
I really enjoyed the series, it was fun and I got to see some cute reverse tropes (in the case of the general being all sweetly bossy to a helpless pretty boy) there were also some good villains that made me hate seeing them on camera. They pissed me off so hard. Some characters were developed nicely but at times that same development seemed a bit hasty. While I loved the series and how it ended, I didn't cry a lot which is just my own personal metric for dramas. (if I cry at some point during the drama then that means that the drama touched me that deeply).
The soundtrack was really nice and the main theme and song were great.

I wanted more emotions
Play Me had a decent premise, but unfortunately, that's about where my interest in it ends. It isn't a terrible drama, but it feels incredibly unremarkable, with very little that leaves a lasting impression. The biggest issue for me was the romance. The leads had some visual appeal, but their chemistry was only a 6/10, and I never really felt the connection between them. This made some of the romantic developments feel forced rather than natural. The confession scene, especially with the cars honking in the background, felt so out of nowhere that it seemed to exist mainly to drag out the romance.
The story itself was predictable, and some potentially interesting conflicts were resolved far too quickly. I initially thought the lawyer best friend's actions might introduce some unpredictability, but that storyline was wrapped up so quickly that his involvement ultimately felt unnecessary. The conflict surrounding Jae On choosing between Yihyun's career and his own feelings had similar problems—it should have carried more emotional weight, but the execution made it feel like barely an obstacle.
The acting was okay but could have been better, while the cinematography, music, and overall atmosphere were largely unremarkable. Honestly, the biggest strength of the drama was simply the visuals of the leads.
Overall, Play Me isn't bad enough to make me regret watching it, but it also isn't memorable enough for me to recommend it. The script and its execution needed considerably more depth.
Play Me is worth watching if you enjoy watching Korean BLs simply for the sake of watching Korean BLs.

Mutual heart theft
What can I say about this. This drama is so good, the writing is so well paced, love didn't come quick and neither did trust, they were enemies and they acted as such, neither needlessly cruel nor unreasonably kind, just two people trying to deal with their emotions while also safeguarding their mutual clans. Slowly, the affection sprouted and then love bloomed and god how I love their communication, you feel tension but there are no misunderstandings that drag forever, anything that pops up is quickly resolved through talk and even if the talk isn't the solution at least they say all there is to say. Manman is such a sweet and smart lady, she stole my heart from the start, she isn't physically strong but she is so clever that she can overturn any situation. I could go on forever but I will stop here.Music is awesome! Love it highly recommend.

Sifeng's Never Ending Suffering.
The show is pretty solid for a xianxia, by which I mean I expected misunderstandings and got MISUNDERSTANDINGS X 100 because the first arc was just that, they got together pretty quickly, Sifeng fell hard and fast and never fell out. Boy was a lovestruck fool for 10 lifetimes. His love was selfless and it annoyed the fuck out of me because it showcased how Xuanji's love is very much the opposite. Sure they write it off as her having no senses, but even when she acquires those senses she trusts him even less. The more feelings she got the quicker she was to judging him I think. Anyways, I loved some parts, hated others. I hated THAT ASSHOLE HAO CHEN and will forever be grateful this wasn't my introduction to Liu Xueyi.I was surprised all of this happened in one lifetime, when I first started I was really expecting a death that will lead to life 2.0 in the heavenly realm, in fact at some point I thought the show should've just gone with that to spare me the dislike I developed for Xuanji.
Yu Sifeng is best boy, he deserves all the love.
The drama makes me crave a drama with a protective female lead. (How I miss you FU YIXIAO)

Represents all that a Wuxia drama is supposed to be
If you want a proper tale of wuxia heroics then this is the one! You have brotherhood and martial arts and overcoming obstacles to advance your skills! Also Lei WUJIE! I love him. I'D WATCH another season just to see him, Xiao se and Wuxin travelling through the world and getting through shenanigans.Loved how the story progressed and how the ending developed too. Such a good story. I love that the drama also stays true to its theme of youth just pushing through!

The good parts were great the bad parts dragged
For me the 1st part and last part were the best, they both made me fall in love with our wonderful leads. Sima Jiao is the best and softest lover boy and Tingyan is so relatable and so devoted too. The whole demon realm arc felt like it contained several repeated plot points.Sima Jiao almost died so many times that I wasn't really affected by all the close calls, it ruined my emotional investment in the drama. I was so sure that no one is ever gonna die because they kept being revived that the stakes never felt like they mattered, I feel robbed of a good cry.

An Okay drama
Blue Lips was an enjoyable watch with a pretty interesting premise. The Vandagon mystery in particular gave the story enough of a hook to keep me curious about what was actually going on.I also liked both male leads individually because they genuinely felt like they had lives outside of their relationship. Shixian especially always seemed to have something going on, which made him feel like a character rather than someone who only existed for the romance.
The chemistry between the leads was probably one of my favorite things about the drama. I'd give it an 8/10. Their scenes together didn't feel overly awkward, and I actually found myself looking forward to seeing them interact. The romance itself was nice too. There was some reliance on the classic miscommunication trope for relationship conflict, but thankfully, it didn't ruin my enjoyment of their relationship.
The acting, however, was just okay. Nothing particularly stood out to me, and there were moments where the emotional delivery felt a little lacking. Still, there weren't any characters I particularly disliked, so the drama remained an easy enough watch.
The first arc was definitely what stood out the most to me. I was genuinely curious about why Shixian wore blue lipstick and, more importantly, why Teng Mo was running an adult toy shop when he was clearly affluent. Those little mysteries made me want to keep watching and figure things out.
As for the ending, it was predictable enough. The sister's death happened pretty much as expected, and the two leads eventually ended up together. Nothing was particularly wrong with it, but it also wasn't an ending that left much of an impression.
Lukewarm praise aside. THE DUBBING GOT ON MY Nerves. The AI music or smtg that was on ep 1, the singing that felt so at odds with whatever was going on, that shit almost made me drop the drama. But oh well.
Overall, I'd say Blue Lips was a perfectly decent 7/10 watch. I enjoyed my time with it and finished feeling pretty satisfied, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it because it wasn't remarkable enough to make me want to tell everyone to watch it. If someone has the time and asks me about it, though, I'd probably just say, "Go ahead, it's not bad."

Loved! Didn't even skip while watching
As the title said, great drama, the acting was awesome and the soundtrack matched the vibes perfectly!!I loved how women driven it was, like sure it had its rare damsel moments but most of the times it was just our amazing FL thinking her way through situations and helping out other women. This drama to me was about understanding the other, their struggles and what pushes them to be the way they are. I loved it. The instrumental soundtracks often gave the drama its appropriate heaviness and the acting was superb. The villain actually made me hate seeing him on screen and that hasn't happened in a while for me.
P. S. CHAI JING OWNS MY HEART. THEIR FRIENDSHIP WAS EVERYTHING TO ME.

Loved it but (Review contains spoilers)
I loved the drama, it started so string and it was hilarious and super rewarding at times. The acting was good and the soundtrack too. Now what pissed me off were the last episodes, everything felt rushed and then some stuff was just unnecessary. The whole Chu Zhao plot felt rushed, the king pissed me off as he kept acting so magnanimous and like everything was Zhao s fault, as if he doesn't have his own thinking pan in his head. Last ep ruined the show a bit for me, but I still enjoyed most of it so it s okay.

I sobbed so hard. I loved it so much.
I love well written tragedies, I also love fantasy and epic tales so this one? Ticked all the boxes!Fated enemies, fated lovers, tragic fate. We have gods, demons, mortals the ending of the world! We also have a very unfortunate boy who has a tragic life and learns to love, gets betrayed and loves still!
Tantai Jin's love is unmatched. Xiwu's is also its own kind of tragic, prophesized savior of the world falling in love with the one who destroyed it yet she keeps wanting to believe in him and trusts and tries so hard.
I am heartbroken, I sobbed so hard by the end I was hiccuping. It was one of best watches, makes me realise that truly, I can only find this type of content in chinese drama and nowhere else.
The Music IS AWESOME. I LOVE IT I HAVE THE WHOLE THNG SAVED.
Just watch it you guys, my words fail me.
