Honestly? Probably not, no. In the Webtoon is was established that Soo Hyun and Jun Wan (Jun's older brother) were in a relationship but none of that was portrayed in the drama.

Like I don’t remember the scenes where Daon looked frustrated on his couch, or Taekyung crying… I think my heart will be hurt these next few episodes💔

I finished this today and I can tell that I'm gonna miss this show so much on Mondays and Tuesdays from now on. But I still have one question… WHO DID SOO HYUN LIKE? I thought they'd explain why he put down a finger during that game but I'm still confused who he meant he liked by that! ㅠㅠ

Hmm, I would say they probably focus on romance and friendship 50/50! I think the main reason a lot of people are upset with the romance is because it differs greatly from the Webtoon and therefore seems rushed. But honestly, after putting away my Webtoon-based expectations way, I actually enjoy the romance parts now! But I admitedly have wanted to roll my eyes a couple of times lmao, but the show is still a solid 9/10 for me!

Not gonna lie, ever since you've written this comment all I can think about it an ending where Soohyun and Junwan lock eyes LMAOOOO that is probably the only instance where I wouldn't mind an open ending

As someone who's definitely guilty of criticizing the romance (sorry heh), I still recommend the show! It's still one of my favorite dramas despite me finding the romance too fast-paced. I've even grown to love Jun and Sobin, better late than never lmao (I still have some issues with certain other romance aspects, but hopefully things will get cleared up in the last two episodes). Sure, it has its flaws, but all shows do. You should give it a go if you think you'll find it interesting!

Eunjo and Annie's backstory was the first time during this show that made me cry… and let me tell you I cried HARD ㅠㅠ

I can't be the only one who ISN'T annoyed with Daon being nice to everybody, right? ;__; Like it's pretty clear he needs to be liked because his parents don't pay attention to him. It's only natural for him to be nice because he deep down craves affection from people, and the only way he knows how is by never saying no to favors. Sure it can cause misunderstandings, but it's most likely gonna be something they'll dive into in future episodes, so no need to criticize Daon so harshly lol

I've warmed up quite a lot to So Bin and Jun's relationship! I was previously wary of them but found them quite sweet these past few episodes. But I really don't like how suddenly *everybody* is paired up. I really wish there wasn't a million different romance plots on top of the actual plot with the leads and their families etc. But man I love this show so much! I can't believe next week is the last broadcasting week ㅠㅠ

Same, I agree. I really enjoy the show but they definitely erased the parts that could've served as genuine representation and replaced it with semi-forced romances for both Yeo Joon and Soo Hyun. And for Soo Hyun it's more bothering because he was gay in the webtoon. I wouldn't say I'm disappointed, but I'm not happy that the preview for episode 9 makes it seem as though he actually does like either Mi Joo or Young Ran. I feel like if they were gonna make Soo Hyun straight, they should've at least made him stay single.
