I'm also not a SHK hater and was quite content to see her as her acting had never shocked me before but damn! What a disappointment.

The title in itself doesn't suit the drama lol. Who is breaking up with whom seeing as the brother died and she barely has what one could call a relationship with the ML.

Exactly. Seriously it's shocking seeing who wrote it because Misty was so much better. Here the story dosen't even move forward and the characters are so badly written it's painfull to watch.

The mom against relationship worked in Something in the Rain because the FL -while being in her mid-30s and being a working woman- was presented as your typical Korean girl who still lived with her parents and respected the rules set by her society.
She still lived with her parents so it was difficult for her to get away from her mother's nagging and her relationship was really scandalous in their standards.

Here her mother just comes of as tasteless and bratty. And her parents really have no ground to stand on to oppose the relationship. It was never official as FL was unknowingly the affair partner of an engaged man ; there 2-month old relationship solely took place in Europe and I even wonder how her parents got to know about the brother as he died almost instantly as soon as they arrived in SK.


It makes me wonder if the scriptwriter used a ghostwriter for one of his dramas or if they had to water it down to this point because SHK couldn't play in something too scandalous.

Yep it seemed to me that FL and ML had a connection In his past life (before he was borne with the scar on his hand).

I'm curious about their story especially after seeing how FL touched the ML's face before strangling him.

As of now I'd have a hard time shipping ML with 2FL because she's scared of him and she hated him or at least held deep resentment towards him in the life in which they were married.

I wouldn't be surprised if 2ML was also there in their past past life seeing as she has a mystical power.

The rating is just shocking. The drama has no redeeming qualities.
Those who'll overrate this drama are the same one who'll be critical with far better dramas smh

I understand, sad endings can be hard to deal with -hence why I jungle with multiple dramas at a time as to not be overwhelmed when it becomes too intense.

The Red Sleeve is a great drama though and you might not regret having skipped it now. Lee Jun Ho was great in his role and his grandfather was excellent too.

It's based on a true story so they couldn't change it.

I don't understand why you'd bother to come on the drama's page to belittled people who are interested in watching the drama and like the actress.

At the end of the day, the allegations made against her weren't proven. Also, what happened with her ex is in regard of the personal life and she's in way responsible for another human being decisions.
Her ex chose to act a certain way and saying she instructed him to do so is far stretched.
Do you think he'd have jump of a bridge if she'd asked ?

And seriously, her agency choosing to renew her co contract and not let her go is an indicator that all isn't as it seems. Because most often than not, the agencies tend to break the contract of actors who are embroiled in controversies.

I'm disappointed for a lot of things regarding the drama but one of my hang ups is that the FL is presented as being super competent in her job and having had a majestic growth but how can it be possible if she's too nice?
She keeps people who do mistakes and those who don't show any loyalty toward the team.

Depends on what people are looking for. If they don't want romance then there are plenty of good dramas with little to no romance in it.

My point is, watching a big-budgeted drama with two beautiful leads who have a connection and not expecting there to be a romance is setting oneself for disappointement.

It's easier to read the subtiles than to try to understand what they are saying... they should have let the actors speak english as it's the international langage or speak Korean and prétend it's French.

It's a nice try though and French is a complicated langage especially for those who had to pick it up latter on. They might not have had the time to reharse.

Still hoping they'll make a sequel. Park Ha Sun was rooting for a sequel named Daycare Center and I feel it's fitting as while the mothers struggle the first few months because themselves and the baby re acquainting each other and setting up a routine, it's also hard when the child is at the age of going to Daycare as he/she is affirming his/her personality and independence, while the mother might have gone back to work or feeling lonely if she feels people around her have more exciting lived.
