Wah I just had a look at trailer for ep 9 -some delicious scenes coming up and looks like queen cockroach gonna get a rude awakening

That tiger painting really paints a thousand words - the big tiger looks like it’s drooling over the cub like it’s a Mac Tiger meal………with a painting like that no wonder FQS already figured it all out

They never have any self-awareness and will use any old excuse to justify their obsession - that whole story about him killing the Feng family is such BS even FQS has long sussed that…..humans are far more homicidal and dangerous than spirits.

Umm. IKR? But now we see he wants them to be couple so he can use them to get something and am guessing it doesn’t work if he’s part of the couple…..

Apparently the backstory in the novel is that she turned up at his doorstep pretending to be injured/damsel in distress and managed to trick him. He was on the verge of ascending but gave it all up for her…….she really is too horrible for words, and a total nutter of course. But yeah, probably Tianyao hadn’t socialised much with mortal women before to be so easily taken in.

Seems like it..........but what sort of matchmaker goes around killing his clients?

He's not in the novel so no real clue yet why he's doing what he's doing..............

Well pretty soon she finds out that she has the his heart protection scale so really she kinda owes him her life and she won't die with the scale..........altho' he could have told her before he stabbed her methinks..........

Currently he seems rather psycho - with cute dimples..............better be careful not to get beaten up by YH when she finds out what he did at the arena

but only to make way for a white lotus if I remember correctly :) cdramaland just be full of these tropes............

While GX had to find happiness with her rabbit in the next life, here's hoping YH finds happiness with her dragon in this life.............

I would like to say quite likely a HE, cos things work out in the novel, and all of this author's works which have been adapted have a HE - LBFAD, The Legends............so fingers crossed. But then again, you never know the strange workings of cdramaland and can't underestimate their ability to screw with the ending............
You should watch nevertheless, it's really funny and entertaining and the main couple look ab fab.
