You are right, I forgot about Jiling as a fox and a blind human transformed into a teenage version ( blue and brown costume). That is 2 or 3 if we separate his life as a human living with his family. LS as grey-haired demon fox is def one of them and LS as dragon (black or white costumes are confusing - could be his ultimate and basic power mode).

More likely that LS has different personalities. Grey- haired - super cold, lonely , demonic, almost heartless version. Black-haired with gorgeous costumes - slightly warmer, protective and powerful, and Everyday LS with black and khaki look - standard Monday to Friday alter ego of LS. Then LS before his mental breakdown, who only loved and wanted to protect the world, white and pure. Trauma caused his personality split. Jiling and Manman are simple characters, not in this. Anyhow, this is one of my theories 🙃

What if grey-haired LS ( fox demon) emerged after black-haired LS had a full blown mental breakdown - played to perfection by TRJ - and became this cold, lonely, revenge- seeking core version of LS. What if WYH becomes butterfly demon version of his previous self, all due to the same trauma that happened in the past that they all trying to resolve in present. Ywh' s been obsessed ever since maybe even trying to prevent the truth from coming out or to seek a revenge against LS. It's giving some vibes from FoF, pick your character maybe lilun and zyz - misunderstood or zyz and yichen - after some slaughter happened. We got the final battle btw LS and YWh - in their demon forms - butterfly and fox - emotionally charged, as in unresolved issues btw ex - something. After all TRJ showed us a picture of grey haired LS version - with a butterfly shaped hairpin , haha. Did i crack the plot or i just wrote some fiction? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
