No clue what the deal is btw gjm and Rui’s studio, so Rui might be limited, maybe needs prior approval. Like, only when gjm’s schedule allows, he can get roles elsewhere. When he was cast, he'd just debuted and had no real negotiating powers, wonder what time cap was agreed.

One of my fave clips is Rui as JL, sitting on the roof. What got caught was a convo where dp asked s'one not to film Rui cause he was a "minor". Rui was chewing something, looking down in their direction. He clearly couldn’t hear the convo, but when "minor" was mentioned, he nodded..so it apperead like he was confirming it. 😁Struggled a bit with the translation, so if I didn’t catch errything right, jump in.

Rui had me laughing...first slowly turning, all divine grace and elegance, then suddenly started acting as someone whining about prices at a street market, asking for discount, swearing he saw cheaper goods down the corner. 😁🤣
