I actually like the script if you compare it to the previous to dramas in the installment. This is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better. But if I were to judge it without comparing it with the other two this ones not bad and definitely enjoyable but also not good enough to be my favourite. and yeah they definitely lacked budget for the evil characters department. that smoke isn't scary at all
You all know right that it's ok to call a character evil for being evil even if your favourite actor plays that role? I love Youjung and she's playing a horrible horrible human being, thats the point of it. Yes, we understand why she did such terrible things to the mean girl and her dad but what about all the people she used and ruined lives of on the way? All these people are innocent and trusted her completely! They wouldn't have ended up the way they did if she chose to protect them or better yet not involve them.
So anyone tell me how much have this drama rating in everything like story writing 'hero character boring or interesting

Even though they explained why he's so relaxed it still feels weird to see him live a normal life while Qingtong is suffering. I wish they did this part a little differently

it's fine for a drama to not have kiss scenes if the chemistry is there. Both Qingtong and Fugui are super cute together and I didn't even think of a kiss scene because it seemed like they didn't need any. You can already feel their love practically overflowing through the screen. My only annoyance would be Qingtong's rat of a spider brother. He's annoying 😒👿

I'm watching another drama where the ml is supposed to be cold and emotionless like Fugui but I swear the actor cannot for the life of him give microexpressions 😭. Watching him is like watching wood! Kinda shows playing emotionless characters is hard but Cheng Yi still does it quite well
