Wu Jin Yan deserves better.
Although it’s not a particularly bad drama, I just couldn’t really get into it. I found the storyline and production way too ordinary, and there were no real surprises. Throughout the whole drama, you keep waiting to see Wu Jin Yan in assassin mode, but that barely ever happens. The actress is still as good as ever, but she can’t carry the whole drama by herself.
The ML’s character changes completely within just two episodes, and his role completely loses its credibility in the second half of the story. The supporting characters barely have any storylines, and what little we do get is really not that interesting.
Honestly, these actors deserve so much better than this. I’ll just remember the first half as being pretty interesting and quickly forget about the rest.
