Mdl ratings doesn't matter as long it gets recognition from mainland
True. I haven't started watching this drama yet I'm waiting for more episodes to come as I'm not good with waiting. But it's a fact that Cdramas doesn't care about international popularity what matters is the mainland recognition.
Plzz a HE 😭. Hope they change the drama adaptation.
No, but I looked into it. It doesn’t have a very good ending, and the FL is tortured in almost every possible way. The ML is also not the typical kind you usually see in novels. (what I meant was he’s written differently from the usual idealized MLs, which some readers might find harder to like)
She has two on going drama rumor both costume-Tongti/同体 - author is from love between fairy and devil, production…
She has also been constantly rumored to be in the drama Going to Ride the Wind. That makes three dramas rumored for her, and all three have been circulating for quite some time.
This drama was a total banger and definitely deserves at least an 8.5 rating. It’s not the usual lovey dovey plot, but a complex, emotionally intense story that kept me completely hooked. I loved every moment of it.
I was curious about the novel, so I searched for it and found some information on WB. Apparently, the ML is a jerk in the novel, it’s said that he even kills his own child, and the FL is very pitiful. I just hope that when they adapt it into a drama, they revise the script, because I’m not really a big fan of that kind of ML (especially if one of my favorite actors gets casted in it).
Have you watched My Journey to You? He’s just as amazing.
Any idea what his next drama will be after Mo Li? Saw rumors about The Lament of Autumn with Xu Ruo Han (though I’m not taking it seriously). Wonder if it’s true. Checked the novel out of curiosity, apparently the ML is a jerk 😐.
It starts picking up by ep 7 and the case-breaking side of it is very teamwork-driven and it is not only centered…
I also had my worries when he was poisoned, and at the beginning, he really didn’t appear much. But I kept going, and I don’t regret not dropping the drama. Now that it’s nearing the end, it’s getting very interesting.
Yes I was thinking that too. Some people have theorized Beiming has an evil twin so now I'm starting to think…
I also have that theory, but Huang Wuchuang looks much older than the male lead. And when Yesha took him into care, he looked like a teenage boy, which is kind of confusing. Normally, in dramas, leads parents are shown as younger versions of themselves. Also, in the first case (the tailor), he said he heard Yesha’s voice on the boat. I can’t wrap my head around who Yesha really is. But I love this suspense. I’m starting to suspect that Yesha might actually be the male lead’s biological father maybe 🤔or his twin like u said. No matter what, it’s definitely clear that was the male lead’s voice at the end of episode 25.
