It is of course a personal perception. I entirely blame the director for that.

In my opinion, everyone should have the same value. ML means only that the story is about him, not that he is worth more. That is what an egocentric person would think about himself.

This story is lacking for me because all circles around only one person. The fighting scenes are good, but there is no emotional impact for me. Everyone dies right and left, but all focus is only on the hero. I'm in the middle and will continue to the end, but every time the hero is shown griefing, it's just cringeworthy for me. Why are you more important than everyone else?

Ranran's character is what made me watch this drama. Her character is very consistent throughout the story.

And luckily this incommunication doesn't last long. Even if one doesn't tell, the other discovers the truth quite fast. And there is this mutual understanding and trust, which makes it stand out in a positive way.

Luckily it didn't last too long. Now at episode 22 things are getting cleared up.

I'm at episode 20, and this pushing away Ranran for her own good, but hurting her, is really going on my nerves. Ush!

When is fake Mu Qingge revealed? I'm tired of her (I'm at episode 18).

This drama has its own charm. And I'm not even into romance dramas. There is something about it that lingers in a pleasant way.

I still watch dramas with ratings 7 and above if it pleases me. So dont't worry about that. I'm more worried about dramas constantly over 8.5, these are just fans supporting the actors, it doesn't mean anything about the drama itself.

I quite like this drama, but I cannot stand the sister. I find it too cliché to be believable. Why would I think if someone is talented it should be mine?

Yes, I was expecting something big to be revealed, such a let down.
