ok after rewatching the first 5 eps I feel much better and am very excited for what's to come.

yeah the color grading/directing isn't great, editing is sloppy and they used too much ugly AI but it's still very enjoyable to watch. both Linghe and Churan's acting is good and made me feel the emotions, I like the soundtrack and there's still so much mystery and exciting plot points.

did they delete the scene of qingyi in prison where his hand gets hurt? or it's gonna be in future eps

I loved the first 5 eps. my only complaint is how short they were. 37 minutes is too short especially removing the intro and outros each ep is basically only 30 minutes 😑

they do but this one is a very anticipated drama. I feel like they'd want to promote it better than just dropping it in a day or two

if it's really airing on July 20 wouldn't they have already announced it? they usually announce release dates about a week before so 2-3 days would be sudden.

I hope this will be a loose adaptation bc the novel was kinda boring.
