The timeline is messin’ with me, but other than that, I liked the first episode. The storyline, characters, and actors have me intrigued. I’m anticipating the next one. It’s off to a good start.
I don’t get it. What did the Director cut differently? I say this having rewatched the show version a couple of times. What were the differences? Still a worthwhile watch, but I don’t see why a “director’s cut” was necessary, could have just relabeled as the movie version.
I just love seeing Jimin & Jungkook being themselves. No matter the amount of cameras pointed at them, the members of BTS always seem to show a bit of who they truly are, which is also true of seeing JK and Jimin on this show as well. Experiencing them through a travel vlog or anything else they’ve done in front of the filter of a camera and editing can never paint the true picture of the complexity of who they are as a person, but you get glimpses of their true selves, and that’s what I’ll forever love. These young men grew up in constant scrutiny in the public eye but yet somehow have a sense of self that is just like anyone else. I miss them. Can’t wait to see everyone together again. And back on point, this show is just a lot of fun to watch.
What. Is. Going. On?! You know what though, it doesn’t even matter. I’m tuned in and turned on and enjoying this ride where I never know what’s coming around the next curve. Bring it. Whatever comes next, I’m here for it.
Ever so randomly I often find myself just wanting to watch LTNS. The literal only fault I have with this show/movie is that it’s too short. But that’s probably a crappy thing to say, because what they had and what they did with it, it’s just phenomenal. I like thinking about how this was made years before KinnPorshe, but as a part of the BL gangster-land dramas, it rivals for the best
After my second time watching, this is still a solid 8/10, I upped it to 8.5 just because it still brought them feels the second go around. Those times when Togawa literally made my chest tighten and I could feel his want and need. But this will always be my one and only fault with this show, the only kiss you get to see is forced, and after that, it’s only missed opportunities. Granted, they’re not going to go about kissing in public, and understandably so. But we never get to see that private moment of a shared kiss that feels fulfilling and equally reciprocated. I swear I’m not trying to make it about the kissing and nothing more, it was just a let down when I craved to see that shared connection between them.
This is an incredibly acted drama with a good story, I’m sure I’ll come back and watch yet again, but I’ll forever feel robbed of getting that little extra sweetness.
Love is better the second time around - which is also completely true of my second time around viewing this. As a binge watch it really packs a punch and leaves you fulfilled. I remember when watching while it was airing, and each week the episode felt like it held so much but also was never enough, but as a binge watch, this is chef’s kiss perfection. I’ve got nothing but love for this show and it stands at the upper echelons of Japanese yaoi, imo.
My felt so bad for Ryota and the way he was crying. He showed so much courage, I was in awe of it. It must have…
He must be, right? His strength of character goes beyond that of a televised persona. Thank you for this. I love your optimism and I both hope and believe it can be true. 💖
I told myself about a couple of episodes into this that if Ryota finds a happy ending, I’ll give it a 10/10. I don’t know what it was about him exactly, but I just wanted to see his happiness. That wasn’t the case unfortunately, but still 8.5/10 because this was fun and I enjoyed watching.

Avid fan base. Grrrrrr! I love that.
At this point I’m only responding because you are and I both don’t want to and also want to sort of keep going. Why am I not allowed to dislike this but you seem to feel liking it is the only right answer here? It can be both.

I’ll stop here. Thank you to you guys. They say that debate is the great divider, but when you think about it, it also really brings us together. We have a shared passion in something. Thank you again to you guys for sharing that with me. I literally hope you all enjoy until your hearts are content. Happy viewing!!

Ouch, that’s a lot of assumption. Is the purpose of this platform not for one to call a spade a spade and another to disagree? My opinion is not hostile, and I feel like it’s become too focused on the point that yes, I expect a BL to have any kind of “L” in its storytelling. This show, is yet again, a misuse of the ability and the greatness of Off and Gun. I’m allowed to say that. You’re allowed to disagree. But damn, have you seen “Not Me”? There was a story, and there was romance. I will not believe that I am expecting too much by expecting an iota of the same from any show they appear in. This is not Off and Gun at their best. But believe what you will, and I will do the same.

I ordered something delicious and fun, and it showed up right at my door.
