The lead actors and the storyline kept me going to the end

The storyline was interesting and carried well from episode to episode and kept me going till the end and I did not drop off. The actors of the main characters did their roles very well, especially Im Soo Hyang as Park Do Ra. Im Ye Jin as Pil Sung's gossiping grandma was almost too funny to follow and Cha Hwa Yun as Do Ra's mother almost too painful to watch.

However, some of the actors were rather mediocre or even poor and unrealistic - biggest disappointment was Jung Jae Soon as the aunt. Or perhaps the directing was not good? This kept me pressing fast forward far too often. For an example, characters rushing in through the doors or leaving the room occurred far too often and it was like watching a drama on stage. There is a lot of melodrama and yelling, some characters were treated very badly by others. In the 50 episodes there was enough time to develop the side stories, too, which made the whole script a bit richer and more interesting. I would say there was more suffering and crying than happy moments. And there should be a happy ending shouldn't there? However, for me this long drama was worth bingeing with a bit of of reservation.
