The romance is a slow burn, relying on subtle moments rather than constant interaction. This will appeal to some viewers, but may feel too slow for others. Visually, the drama remains polished throughout.

Great Acting, but an Oh-So-Toxic Relationship Between the FL & ML

Love & Bid Farewell is not a romance I’d describe as beautiful—it is dark, toxic, and emotionally exhausting. The relationship between the two leads is deeply unhealthy, and, as expected, nothing good ultimately comes from it. Rather than glorifying their dynamic, the drama presents the destructive consequences of a relationship built on obsession, manipulation, and pain.

What truly carries this drama are the performances. Both the male and female leads deliver incredibly convincing portrayals, making every confrontation and emotional breakdown feel authentic. Their chemistry is undeniable, even when the relationship itself is difficult to watch, and they deserve a great deal of credit for bringing such complex characters to life.

While I appreciate the quality of the acting, this isn’t a drama I would personally revisit. Some scenes are quite abusive, and one viewing was enough for me. That said, I will definitely be keeping an eye out for future projects from both leads, as they proved they are exceptionally talented actors.

This may not be an easy watch, but if you’re looking for powerful performances and a story that doesn’t shy away from showing the consequences of a toxic relationship, Love & Bid Farewell delivers.

Visually pleasing and great film

Watched it because of the FL and what a great film it was.
FL, is great as a person who dreams about killing peoples, and can not understand why and who they are that she is killing in her dreams. She is suffering from self harm and it’s been getting worse. She lives with her aunt who wants to desperately help her. Aunt and her Sharman friend trying to help her to overcome her nightmares. A mystical film, that was so good I had to watch it straight again, in case I have missed anything from the storyline. The acting of the FL and the ML were very convincing. Visually the film was pleasing with at time dreamlike state. The OST was very nice as I think the ML and the FL sang it, but I might be wrong. Would recommend and would watch again .

A Promising Start That Lost Its Magic

I really wanted to like *Mirror of the Witch*. The concept was so promising — a dark, magical fairytale filled with curses, mystery, and emotion. The first few episodes were interesting, and the atmosphere was hauntingly beautiful.

The cast did a great job, especially Kim Sae Ron as the cursed princess and Yoon Shi Yoon as her healer and protector. Both gave emotional performances that carried much of the show’s heart.

However, around episode 9, I started to lose interest. The pacing slowed down, the story became repetitive, and it was hard to stay invested in the characters or their journey. What began with so much potential just couldn’t keep the same spark.

Will I finish it? Probably not.
It’s a well-produced drama with a strong start, but it didn’t hold my attention the way I hoped it would.
