My thoughts are at the halfway point is that Season 2 is that much better than Season 1

My thoughts after Ep 8 - this show is great all round value for money. It draws you in at the right moments. It’s well written and of course, the cast is all class. I also enjoy how both detectives go about things and their relationship too. KTR made a great choice picking to be a part of this show. Also, I take my hat off to OJS playing so well such a “grey” character.

I really enjoyed show until ep 27 and then the nonsense re the leads started in earnest. It’s a great cast. I liked the characters (except for the two youngest males - to qualify my statement, they had potential). Perhaps my favourite couple is the HR Director and Director Cong - very organic to me. Anyway, dropped.

I thought this episode was superb. Show has really hit its straps now 😊

Well, I thought episodes 3 and 4 were fabulous!

It is a great cliffhanger. I am searching through my watchlist to prompt my memory. That aside, In Bossam Steal The Fate (a very good historical romance with some great acting going on) - there is an amazing cliff hanger at the end of episode three. I think that scene made everyone hold their breath.

As much as I enjoyed ep 5, I did roll my eyes a fair bit 😂

@Majestic - I think we get to see him start to appear in a twist to the story around 35 - 40 minutes in. It may be before this.

It was okay. Started off really well and the connection between the leads was lovely. However, the comical CEO subplot didn’t work for me nor the ending. It could have been great.

Very watchable - both leads were great 😊

Overall, a phenomenal show representing Chinese art, dance, music, crafts and culture. The weaving in of the personal growth of the cast was also quite heartwarming 😊

I thought the first episode was solid, with some well spaced tropes. The cliffhanger was a bit ordinary though. The writing needs to be a bit stronger. Can’t fault how the show looks - high production values.

Show is quite good, but during eps 10 and 11 the same things started to happen yet again and it annoyed me along with An Xin’s brother being too much. So, I gave it away.

@Thaya_Rees - That’s quite okay. The one thing Cha Eun Jae didn’t do (and KDJ was correct on this point) was contact Kim Sabu first. It would have helped alleviate what unfolded.

The other issue I find interesting is to do with admitting rights. In order for doctors to work in both the hospital and the trauma centre, they need to be approved for both - which Eun Jae would certainly still be.

To have specialists dealing in trauma is a given and I certainly understand KJD’s intention. So fingers crossed the debrief goes well and the learnings from the first three days are factored in. It’s all very interesting.

@Ivy - you could very well be right. A key issue is creating a facility in the countryside that will secure enough doctors to work at well into the future.

I felt Ep9 wondered off track, but wham - Ep10 has saved the day. Fingers crossed that a fantastic twist will emerge at the disciplinary hearing.
