My thoughts re Kang Dong Joo - he has forgotten every thing he learnt from Kim Sabu. That’s not how it goes in my experience with mentors (yes, I know, this is a kdrama afterall). Anyway, for me, this is Season 3s first misstep by trying to create tension through a character who has become inflexible. Yes, there are rules, but you need to look for the flexibility, otherwise it all goes to hell in a hand basket. Overall, it’s still my favourite season so far.

I thought this was a good adaptation - way better than some of the others out there. I’m now tempted to rewatch the Korean original 😊

The theme and closing songs - fabulous. The first part of this drama was so good. I have to agree with many others re the way this drama was wrapped up - it needed more episodes. Our OTP were great together. The second couple I liked. The other couples seemed incomplete. Still, it’s well worth a look.

I wasn’t too happy with how ep 7 was unfolding, then wham - ep 8 put it all back on track 😉

This show is a wow. I love the way they bring history to life through not just explanation, but demonstration as well. Then the interview with the actual craftspeople is a wonderful way to round it all out.

Ep 10 - whew - they squeezed every bit of kdrama emotion they possibly could out of the storyline and I loved every single minute of it anyway 😊😊😊 Some great acting going on here 😉

PS - That would be a great scene 😊

I enjoyed Ep 19, but things are just starting to get too dragged out now. I would like to see much more focus on the youngest couple for a bit. Looks like that might happen soon?

End of Week 9 - Scratching my head a little bit. Ju Hyuk is getting way too much screen time. Lawyer brother-in-law really is clueless and selfish to boot. I hope Jan Di’s aunty gets a break and like others, I’m suspicious of her job interview partner. As for JD’s grandpa - I hope he keeps away Ju Hyuk’s aunt. She’s just the best and deserves her baker boy 🤩 Anyway, let’s see what happens next week😊

Ep 5 was excellent - show has hit its straps 😊

Oddly enough, the way show was put together worked for me. Not the worst show by any means.

For my mind, this is my favourite season so far. I think they have really upped the ante all round. And, isn’t romance a part of life 😊

End of Week 8 - I’m enjoying everyone’s speculation and thoughts below. I thought this week was very fillerish, but very watchable. Show has a feel about it that many other dailies generally lack.

Yes, that’s true. It will be interesting to see what their relationship was (or is).

As much as I liked eps 3 and 4, which were very good, Goo Yi Jung is taking way too long to step in and take action.

Show was solid. A slick production with a comfortable story (no surprises, or twists) that just took you along for the ride with familiar themes. The concept had merit and I liked the ending 😊

Ep 1 was so so, but Ep 2 was very good. So, I’m looking forward to what happens next!

What more can I say - Ep 8 was sublime 😉

Ra Mi Ran is fabulous in this 😊 Her portrayal of Jin Young Soon is spot on.
