Absolutely!

Once I started, I had to keep watching. This is a solid family show. It had humour, heartbreak, enjoyable romantic couples, bad guys and all happening in a villa, which is something the Koreans do well. I did zoom through the second half, but I was determined to see it through. My favourite character though was Mr Makjang 😂

He is an awesome actor. For my mind, his best role is in “Hot Stove League.” He and Park Eun Bin were superb in that show

A more than decent thriller that explored the human condition (why er do what we do) in a very humane way.). The leads all round were superb

Overall, not bad. It was fun initially with some of the humour maintained throughout. The final episode could have done with a touch more work.

Here we are at the end of episode 4. Superb performances by both Kim Hye Soo (she was fabulous in Hyena) and Kim Hae Sook (When is she not good in anything she does?). The cast overall - so good.

Show moves with such a fluid grace, that perhaps, it is a game changer re Sageuks. Show is hard and doesn’t pull any punches, then soft and endearing, the attention to detail is excellent and the costuming is a cut above 😊

Ep 6 - lol. So many of those - oh no, don’t do that moments. I thought it was all so well done 😊

Ep 5 - excellent!!!

Overall, quite well done for a short episodic drama. Ep 29 was a bit ludicrous, but I liked the last episode Very much 😊

Ep 2 was superb. Great acting, extremely well written, an engaging story. The interactions between a mother and her sons are so well done. As others have said: a different type of sageuk and it works.

It’s always interesting how we see things. I did enjoy Alchemy of Souls immensely and Little Women too - and there were some amazing moments in both these shows. However, I didn’t quite rate them as highly as the ones I mentioned, but they were very close.

Perhaps my favourite show this year is Glitch, although the Taiwanese drama Rainless Love for me in terms of how they used local mythology in a current setting was superb.

Ep8 was brilliant - the best piece of television this year - surpassing even the best scenes in Love Like a Galaxy, Be My Princess, Reset, Rainless Love in a Godless Land and Attorney Woo.

The backstory in eps 6-7 - superb. This is how you do a flashback. Great acting all round.

I thought ep 4 was terrific. In fact, so much so, I can’t wait for what happens next. Our leads are wonderful. Jae Hoon is very understanding and very forgiving. Yeo Reum is quite vulnerable and just wants to be loved for who she is 😊

I thought eps 7 and 8 were quite good. Show continues to steadily build its story, similar to building a court case. I think we can all appreciate that nothing is as it seems. I’m up for an unforeseen twist!

I was hoping for so much better as I enjoy a good 50 ep weekender. Unfortunately, I lasted three episodes. I found myself starting to ffwd in the latter stages of ep 2 and most of ep 3. The premise of the story is fine and there is nothing wrong with the acting. There are good moments here and there. However, show is not tight enough and the scenes between past and present are quite a mish mash.
