1) David Goliath stories - underdog winning against powerful people - Healer, Remember 

2) Wacky, crazy, funny characters - Do bong soon,  Waikiki, Wok of love, Hwayugi

3) Older or disabled or struggling triumph over their lives - Navillera, Dear my friends, Light in your eyes, Secret life of my secretary, J Drama Perfect World

4) Fairy tale fantasy - Arang and magistrate, Once upon lingjian mountain, Kang Chi, Queen In Hyun 

5) Happy romance  - Her private life, Fight for my way, Put your head on my shoulder, Witches Romance

Things i hate

1) Chaebol jerk heroes who treat people like insects - Secretary Kim, Secret garden

2) Exploitation of women where they don’t receive justice - Village secret of Achiara (too disturbing)

3) Dramas where older men who responsible for looking out for young girls develop romantic feelings - Guardian Lonely God, My Ajusshi. Too many real life examples of creepy old men preying on powerless girls such as Woody Allen, Jeffrey Epstein, Harvey Weinstein (I am biased)
