On My Story for You Aug 11, 2018
A gentle, meandering story, dealing with the ups and downs of life. It’s an easy watch with characters that you will come to care about.

Is the ending satisfying for romance tag?
Thins show has a very happy ending. Yes, it is a very romantic story.

On Who Wants a Baby? Aug 7, 2018
I quite liked Who Wants a Baby? It has a bit of everything including practical tips at the end on raising a baby. So, overall it was good consistent storytelling, good acting and addressed the full range of issues regarding how having a baby (and children in general) impacts on a family, friends and others.

You would think a super intelligent AI like NSIII would’ve figured out a better keeping place for something…
I actually found the premise for the last two episodes to be quite disappointing including the life and death scenario and the very ordinary cliff hangar setting up NSlll. I also found the shareholders meeting and the launch of M-City to be lack lustre in the end. It was all far from convincing. However, the moments re NSlll with So Bong still stacked up.

Title Life
After four episodes I’m in two minds about Life. It is well made and the acting is very good. I found ep 1 so so, but ep 2 was very compelling, then, eps 3 & 4 didn’t really carry on with the same vigour. A range of interesting subject matter has been introduced along the way, but some of the counter arguments to Seung Hyo’s propositions needed to be much stronger. I guess I will have to watch a few more episodes.

Oh, I do believe both brothers are equally intelligent. Just that one was definitely favored by Mom. The one with…
Yes, the brothers are equally intelligent, and could have been great characters. I have dropped this show for now as I began to feel that things regarding the brothers should have unfolded differently and other elements of the story aren’t meshing quite right after such a promising start. I really like the Mum and Ji Hyun.

This is a gem of a satire regarding the Kdrama industry. There are so many wonderful characters and elements. KMM and JRW are so good (and are very good together). CSW turns in a very fine comedic performance and OJE is delightful. It’s worth investing some time to have a look.

Okay, I'm ready to kill Seo! I hate him and does he actually do any work or he just sneaking around listening…
I think the last two episodes were a bit of a mess just to get to that final scene of the “face off”. I also think the writers are struggling re how it will end as the preview for the final episodes show that NS ends up with the you know what. If that is the case, then I find that a bit disappointing. I believe you need to see it through to the end as you have been such an advocate for NS and the show.

Title Are You Human? Spoiler
one drop water in the river doesn't makes a difference but one drop of tear made the difference in thoughts in…
What I really liked here is that Asimov’s three laws of robotics finally came into play because of the tear:

A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

My mistake! It’s fine.

I found episode one was borderline for me. However, episode two really hit its stride. Survival Marriage has a tight script, is well acted and a certain charm. Haru is excellent.

As much as I wanted to like Risky Romance, I couldn’t get past the first two episodes. The concept is a good one and the preview for the coming episodes shows it has promise. I just found the quirkiness wasn’t tight enough. Perhaps I will have another look down the track.

Title Your Honor
Am I alone in being completely underwhelmed by the first episode?
I thought the first episode (eps 1 & 2) was quite good. However, I found 3 & 4 were a bit all over the place and not as tight as it should be (maybe due to being spoilt by the production values re Switch and Lawless Lawyer) and I felt Han Soo Ho’s character took a big backward step - maybe it was intentional, but it was almost too juvenile for a sophisticated situation. The other roles are quite good.

Title Your Honor
I thought the start was well done. It contrasts nicely with Switch. In other words, the twins have a much different story, both impacting on their Mum in different ways (who is also the mum from Secretary Kim) - one’s aloof (very smart), the other a (not so bright?) trouble maker. There are creepy personalities, sad back stories, some funny elements, lost love and intrigue.

My favourite line: when’s his birthday - oh right, we’re twins! Lol.

I am planning on starting this as the theme looks quite interesting and KBS seems yo be giving pretty strong romcoms…
It is a very nice show and the characters are a real delight. I rate it quite highly. The romance elements are also in full swing. There are also some very strong themes running underneath it all and treats them in a very sensitive way.

Is this drama worth checking out?
I think it depends on whether you can put up with some of the unpleasant characterisations and there are some suspend disbelief moments/elements. Normally, I would have dropped it, but I’m at episode 40 (the first few episodes were good, then becomes challenging and evens out after episode 20) and enjoying the Lee In Hye and Alex storyline and some other bits and pieces. It does have a good cast and seems to have solid ratings.

I enjoyed the story and overall concept even though at times our leads did get into trouble time and again. I thought the leads were great and even liked the relationships between the bad guys. There was good acting throughout, some nice touches and a hint of sadness. Dean takes the cake as the crazy bad guy - some of his expressions were priceless!

Our leads were fabulous. Overall it’s not a bad show. However, I found the storylines to be all over the place. The Show’s concept was a good one, but many of the plots seemed to vanish into thin air. There were good characters and ideas throughout, it just lacked cohesiveness.
