If we suspend our beliefs and accept the idea of souls switching bodies, why couldn't a mother choose to send her child away? In fact, many real-life parents make choices that can be harmful or neglectful.

The Uncle blackmails the mom that he would kill the son and how he got rid of his brother (the kid's father). I guess she figured she would rather see him alive far away than dead.

I know many folks did not enjoy the punishment scenes, but for me, they were a highlight of this drama. It's rare for even the most awful people to suffer the repercussions of their actions, especially in dramas where the principle of forgiveness is used too generously. So, seeing the punishment rendered in cold blood is quite refreshing and I rather enjoy those scenes. I can at least vicariously live in a world where evil is punished by "an eye for an eye"!

And that's the reason I rated it 4. Because of the comedy and acting!

Human emotions are complex; simplifying it to just comedy is unfair just because that is the tag they decided to go with. The movie feels incomplete storywise. Also, the character's backstory doesn't match the character's design. He wasn't some rich, spoilt brat who was pampered by his mother and given special status because he was a male child. Instead, the mother and the sister seemed well-rounded, loving, and supportive. So, it is hard to believe he grew up to be such a misogynist in the first place, even towards his wife.

I recently watched Rebel Ridge on Netflix. It has an even more abrupt ending, which is jarring, given how engaging the movie is. When it cuts to the credit scene, you are surprised the movie ended; you want more! It was a similar concept regarding the ending, but it was well done. Even though there wasn't considerable character progress in that movie, it made sense why the character's emotions changed or escalated. That isn't the case for this movie IMO.

The writers of this show need to go through some psychology classes and therapy for themselves after they are told they should stop writing for a profession. Because the drama is so stupid, it lowers my IQ. It's a good thing I am scrubbing through the episodes and maybe collectively spending less than 10 mins each episode.

I feel like I would have loved this series more if SJJ wasn’t the female lead. Gosh, I think I’ll be a proud anti-fan of hers for life. Honestly, she has zero range. She tried the romance genre and failed spectacularly because she can emote, what, 2-3 expressions max if she tries really hard? Both on and off camera. Her eyes are dead—like, actually devoid of life. If she ever got botox (heaven forbid), what little movement we see around her eyes when she "smiles" would disappear completely, and we’d be left guessing if she’s happy or channeling her inner psychopath.

Look, I know plenty of people (myself included) who have RBF, but I have never seen an actor whose entire character repertoire is just RBF. Except now, thanks to SJJ. Google her images. Go ahead! I pulled up the first 10 photos, fed them to ChatGPT and even ChatGPT could only detect three expressions. **Three!** Even Han So Hee, who’s been called stiff, manages more variety in her expressions.

Honestly, Hiroshi Ishiguro’s bionic robots emote more than she does. Just get Ishiguro to build a SJJ robot, throw in some AI for voice, and we’re all set—no need for her to even show up. I actually ran another experiment and added her name with various expressions in Google images. Same photos popped up for almost all emotions. I was dying laughing. Did the same with Han So Hee, Son Na Eun, Cha Eun Woo, who are all accused of stiff acting, and guess what? Different images for them for different emotions with maybe a little overlap! Shocking, right?

Honestly, I think a block of wood could do a better job. I have zero respect for her as an artist because she’s utterly lacking in talent. She is just riding on the coattails of her boyfriend. She’s getting more chances because of him, who, let’s be real, got her foot in the door to begin with in the industry.

And let’s not pretend she didn’t have chances to show emotional depth in this series because the character is "supposed" to be strong and confident. She’s being *chased* at the end for God's sake for her life—there should be a mix of desperation, strength, conviction, fear, etc. Instead? Nothing. Even dictators like Stalin and Hitler showed more emotional complexity towards the end of their reigns. Meanwhile, here’s Queen Woo, a woman at a greater disadvantage than any man in her position in history, displaying zero emotional range. Being strong doesn’t mean you’re never afraid or vulnerable. Fear is a survival tool; without it, you’re just overconfident and dead. And that’s why I’ll die on this hill: she has zero talent. She thinks she understands the characters she plays, but really, she’s just on autopilot, which is why all the characters she plays look the SAME.

Also, her so-called "strong presence" that she is being lauded for? Yeah, it looks more like condescension in disguise. Acting is >50% facial expression and the rest is body language and dialogue delivery. If you’re missing >50%, congrats, you’re a below-average actor. Simple as that. And let's not forget, she looks and sounds like a baby wearing a costume in this drama.

Man, JCW and the rest of the team carried the 1 star I gave this drama!

Like I said, lack of effective romance or comedy in the story, at this point they might as well make it a makjang instead to make it more watchable and even remotely sensible. For a romantic comedy, every single character except the ML and the second FL are awful human beings.

At this rate, even rock bottom is starting to feel like a compliment for you.

Although you havent gotten the recognition for your feat from your parents, possible siblings and other family members, and your need for validation has brought you to the internet, I just wanted to take the time and acknowledge your perseverance in the face of this challenging adversity! I would have added your friends to the list but its hard to believe you might have any, and even if you do, they are probably hanging around you for sheer entertainment they get from your struggles which would be even more sad.

@larius I would just ignore this person, they are already struggling in life, you dont want to add to their misery. Think of it as charity in kind. I know they will keep going because they need to have the last word, often the case when a person is severely neglected and unloved at home. So please let us be understanding.

I completely agree with most of what you said, especially about the SML. However, I do not agree regarding the FL. She is equally awful and selfish. I understand she is trying to distance herself from the part of her that is like her father but the blatant disregard for medical ethics on her part should also land her in jail along with the SML.

Also, EVERY damn character IMO is a horrible person on a molecular level except the ML and SFL. The brother, the mother, the father, the agent, the friend, the love interest and the list goes on. I want all of them to be miserable for the rest of their lives with no redemption.
