It’s hard to say the attempt was successful when there are so many plot holes in the script. The characters aren’t particularly compelling, and even their personalities keep falling apart. I can see what it was trying to say, but it’s disappointing that it stops at simply following clichés.
The biggest weakness is its predictable plot development. There’s no real tension, and the story feels clichéd. Hopefully, Season 2 will expand the world and pick up the pace.
