Awesome! This is on my rewatch list.
This drama was awesome and is the best BL I've watched so far. The best things about Payback were the actors (especially Min and Toptap), directors and editors. The acting was smooth without the awkwardness you see in a lot of BLs. The pacing of the story was pretty fast and a lot was packed into each episode. I'm comparing this to some BLs I've seen recently where it takes them 50 minutes to tell a 10 minute story. Nothing dragged in this drama. The intimate scenes were pretty vivid and realistic rather than fantasy.
What I did not like about the series were
1) the caricature villains because they felt so fake and didn't mesh well with the rest of the drama,
2) the bunny scenes because I just didn't get it, and
3) the weak ending.
