Title Unlucky Bae
yess ugh the second couple is annoying mee
Exactly, the fact that Kirit broke up with him on his birthday would’ve been okay, terribly vile but acceptable—since he broke up with him because he wanted to be with Mochi—but the jerk had been cheating on Rin with Mochi for two months, and they were still together back then, so that’s really the worst thing he could’ve done. If he’d talked to Rin and and said, “Let’s break up because I want to be with someone else,” then we could at least say Kirit isn’t such a jerk. Mochi is also to blame here because he cheated on Rin by sleeping with Kirit while Kirit was still with Rin—he didn’t say anything to Kirit like, “Let’s talk with Rin before we start dating, they both lied to Rin for two months

It's a book of curses, not a spellbook, and why on earth do those two lousy, treacherous bastards have to be the second pair?

Two episodes in - this show is such a no brainer. Just like the theme song, the two best friends of Asamiya really…
Yeah, that fear thing is kind of refreshing, but the fact that aside from the main characters, everyone else acts like an NPC.

When are the bl series going to stop making ml as cringe, just make any scene funny or comical it doesn't mean…
I feel the same way—lately, it’s really rare to come across an ML who actually acts like an ML, you know, one with an edge, confident, and who knows exactly what they wants. Shy MLs are nice to watch too, but there are just a bit too many of them latel either that cringy. Recently, I was really disappointed by an ML—he was the one from *ChermChey*— and according to the description, he was supposed to be tough, confident, and the owner of a bar, but somehow I didn’t sense those traits in the character. In the first episode, I was like, “Wait, why does the male lead—who’s supposed to be the owner of a bar—look, dress, and even act like an accountant or something like that?”

This is getting more and more interesting—if Min-hwan and Ji-hwan are actually twins and both are in love with Yeo-ri. Min-hwan clearly has some kind of obsession with her; in fact, the accident on the yacht might not have been an accident at all—maybe Min-hwan wanted to get rid of his brother, and it’s been confirmed that it was the necklace that saved her back then.

Okay, I'm worried about his grandma—what will happen when she finds out that her future daughter-in-law is a monkey and not a goat? Although, I guess we should be more worried about Gang Uk because his grandma is going to kill him.

Oji is supposed to have some kind of connection with the uni right? His father I mean? That’s probably why Hinata…
Maybe, but one thing's for sure—that jerk clung to poor Hinata. I'm really curious why—after all, there are plenty of others he could pick on, so why Hinata of all people?

I usually hate the cross-culture adaptations. I have not finished one Japanese adaptation of a Thai series that…
I don't usually watch adaptations like this either, but even though I don't remember the Thai version very well, it seems to me that, at first glance, the Japanese version is actually even better than the Thai one, and I mean, it’s all about the characters—the plot is similar, but I really like the characters because they’re so well-developed. Oji actually looks and acts like a stalker, Sora fits the role of the club owner really well, and Hinata is just Hinata.

So far, it's a good comedy, but we'll see how it goes—because plot-wise, it's clearly going to move at a similar pace to *Magic Move*, which is fast and since the spell goes “a presto amora,” I think that, instead of a curse, he cast some kind of love spell

I suspect there might be more of them—in the sense that one person is the mastermind, another gathers information, and the pawns do the dirty work. The one gathering information is probably that reporter; he helps the mastermind in exchange for juicy tidbits he can use on his show, The mastermind could actually be Thun, who hypnotizes the puppets. Besides, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the reporter just now revealed Phat’s father’s connection to this bank case—it’s too much of a coincidence, especially since they caught Kim doing the dirty work and are getting closer and closer to unraveling the case.

I'm curious about this transplant plot—could he have received the heart of Yeo Ri's friend from that yacht accident? If so, that could be an interesting storyline to explore in this drama.

Title Payback
Ur not wrong, ig payback was meant to be more of self atonement journey for sun rather than revenge in itself.…
I’ll agree with that—maybe it’s not obvious in the drama, but it is in the manga. In fact, that desire for revenge was wearing him down, and it wasn’t just that—all that guilt he’d been carrying inside for years was also like a slow-acting poison for him. And honestly, reading the ending and watching that one scene, I had the feeling that it was only that meeting with his mother and brother, and the words he allowed him to finally free himself from that guilt. Revenge enabled him to finally close that chapter and come to terms with the past; thanks to that, as his family said, he can live—not out of guilt, not for revenge, but for himself. At least, that’s how I interpret the final chapters.

Let me put it this way: in my opinion, this is the most faithful to the original and the best-crafted adaptation I’ve seen since I started watching BL. Although I was exactly surprised that they actually included that scene with Jay and the knives—I thought they’d skip it—and I really thought they’d ruin the scene where Jay takes out the entire board, but they really pulled it off. I hope there are more adaptations like this.

As someone who has already read the manhwa, I'm honestly baffled by how many people are criticizing this drama…
That would make sense—I had the feeling that something was missing somewhere, and that there should have been something before the rain scene, and overall I had the impression that something was missing and that's probably subplots what were missing
