The leads were amazing and had solid chemistry but never in my life have i loved a second lead more than i loved Ye Xian (winwin), he was so good in ep 38 (oh well). My only complaints for the show would be the ending that felt a bit too abrupt and in went a bit downhill around ep 32-37 but came back up for me on 38.
Not a big fan of the FL but dammn she knows how to pick her dramas, none have ever disappointed me. Held back watching this one for so long but finally did.... Loved every part of it.

yeah im aware of all the flaws... But u cannot deny that they certainly had a banging chemistry (Again...... Im very aware that he had a lot of screws loose in his head)

bao'er's dad is the legitimate imperial grand son/ crown prince's son who everyone thought died in the fire 17 years ago and not chengxin prince's son.....making bao'er the legitimate imperial great grand son and an alternate heir to the throne.
they keep saying he was granted the title at 20 so he should be around 23-24... thats my guess could be wrong
think he was alive then. dont think he went to war... i think that age gap would really raise concerns and not be appreciated by viewers (I'm aware it was very normal during that time)
