I think GP Seong Nam is just too smart. So he doesn't really have the need to be too attentive in classes. You know there are students who don't listen in the class, but if you really check their knowledge they know all the academic stuff better than who were participating and attentive in every class. And we know CP has been teaching him stuff too individually bcz they were close brothers. Not sure about having a particular interest like his brothers, but I guess as SN grew up outside, he doesn't give a shit about palace life. But now CP is dead, he is forced to take the responsibility. For Dowager, I don't think she hated CP that much until she found out he is sick. Other grand princes, she seems to hate them. Haha

Looking at the trailer for today's ep and considering that we are only halfway done the series, I don't think GP Sung Nam will be the crown prince this early and that easily. If we think about the medicine he got from outside for CP, it is Yoon Soo Kwang's daughter who paid for it. I guess Sung Nam and the queen will eventually use this to threaten Yoon Soo Kwang into supporting SN to be the next crown prince as they will need someone powerful from the court too to support in order to get the CP position and hold on to it. These are just just my guesses. Anyways, can't wait for today's ep.

I am curious about the ages of all the princes. Haha

Did Li Xun graduated before going to jail or not?

He is a main character and also the one with most potential to be the next king, so there is very less chance for him to die. With how they are building up the story, I guess it's him who will take the throne at the end. Of course it won't be an easy journey with other princes and concubines eyeing for the position.

Anyone knows Li Xun's family background? Like is he from a rich family?

Sungnam will be the next king for sure. However it won't be an easy process for him to take the throne I guess. He is both street smart and book smart and much more intelligent and shrewd than he shows to the others. Bogeom is similar to crown prince, mostly book smart and pure. Sadly people like him can't win against all power hungry people in the palace. He will have the same fate as CP if he becomes the next crown prince.

Sadly he needs to die for other princes to openly compete for the position (I guess it's more like the competition between the concubines)😞

Well, he is the king's star and he has the ice stone within him. So he was brought back alive because of ice stone's power. I guess they will explain it in detail in part 2
